The solution to Korea's problems is to eventually be unified., the biggest obstacle to that is the United States. If Korea were to be united, within months Russia would sign a treaty to build oil and gas pipelines that would run the entire length of Korea. For Russia it would mean money, which equals strength and the U.S. wants only itself to have a foothold in that region.

a poor and starveing country with a very big army.the troops are usein 60 year old sovet wepons there in no room for large tank warfare.how will the north resupply the troops? most of the norths airforce woud be blown out of the sky.mig21s?mig21s were never dogfighters even with skilled russians flying them.they can never get past the defence line of the modern well trained troops of the south.and the massive power of the usaf.i coud go on all night.

hehe... awesome stuff here.... to 'from poland' >> that is not so stupid... in fact... it sounds very sensible and it reflects exactly my opinion as well... n.korea has its problems yes.. just like any other incl. u.s. .. but please, dont take n.korea from western central media. n.korea still has a purpose for the u.s. with n.korea being the " 'dangerous, economy mis-managing asian, up there ' " it servers them well. as a purpose. the n.koreans themselves could be very loving, and unified in their minds. they do have a ministry of unification, mr. jong il has even spoke about this desire in public, if im not mistaking. i havent thought about what alexis said with the pipelines etc. ... yes it does sound sensible and realistic. vladivostok is populated, compared to neighbouring areas (bigger then u.s. landmass) , and with the sakhalin islands nereby future and all, it could be interesting to say at the least. ed >> don't read too much war magazines... seoul being a sea of fires is *NOT* far fetched... that alone should be enough reason to not throw something at the tiger... not even when its hurt or injured ( read ed ). sean >> agree.
