What a tragic saga this has been.Terrorist thugs rape a whole nation,turning the jewel of Africa into rubble with the three devils Sarko,Cameron,Obama with the wreched Qatari/Saudi foxes.And their ugly flag flies in Moscow. Shame,Shame for not Veto that rubbish UN,so when are they carpet bombing Bahrain,Yemen or any of the spoilt regimes that 'are our friends'.And what about a no fly zone over Palestine,no one has the balls to even halt illigal settlements,and oh 'secret' 200+ Nuclear WMD also may be found there,you know the same WMD that these rascals lied and raped Iraq for!

@ Vellach Samie is that not a good thing? Russia should remember who it's friends are not the soviet union's friends ,but Russia's. Historical allies like Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, France and Denmark. Russia's isolation is no isolation at all and thank god that Medvedev is seeing who Russia's allies are (once again ,not the soviet union's allies. Russia's allies) like France and Finland. Americans are begining to be more open towards Russia at least the younger ones are and Russia supported the union in the american civil war. I would say that Russia and America were allies in the time of the Tsars. Alaska is proof enough of that.

@ Karen Marlow Shame on you! why blame Russia for something some foriegn diplomats did?It was the right choice ,seeing as Gaddafi is losing. The people and diplomats of Libya have got to relize or celebrate that Gaddafi's dictatorship is almost over. Personally I am celebrating every victory the west has gotten.

I am not Russian. Maybe I do not have right to accuse Russia of anything.But it is sad that Russia has become worst than a beggar.Americ ans defeated Soviet Union and destroyed all good relations and advantages Russia had with its neighboring countries and Warsaw Pact.Today Americans have also kicked out Russia from Iraq, and now Libya.The American trained terrorist have not only taken over Libya (seems so) but also dare hoist their flag in Russia without any diplomatic effort.Daily we here news that all Russian interest in Libya will be affected.America now says Russian supporting Abkhasia election (they call it Georgian election!!) is illegitimate. R ussians are systematically being isolated from the world with less and less friends. Russian leaders in Government are still doing their best to lick American boots. (Or so it seems to us normal people).McCain dare to say Russia needs Middle East style democratic freedom.I can only hope that there are Russian Thinkers who are planning something to safeguard their country. Just hope.  &nb sp;

Diplomatic Staff represent their nations, and should be politically neutral. There are numerous consular functions which have to be carried out, whatever happens in the home nation. After elections are held in Libya, which for logistical reasons may take some time, a democratic regime will, hopefully ,emerge. The events of 27 years ago in London did indicate that the Gadaffi regime did not operate according to international law and if current allegations are correct, he deserves to be tried at the International Court at the Hague.

The leadership of the Russia Federation has to stick with the old man.

those libyan diplomats have a good head on their shoulders. They know that Gaddafi's regime is soon to be dead. anyway I like the new/old Libyan flag better than the just green one.

As what happened in Zimbabwe, the embassy staff should be told to leave. Since Russia does not recognise the TNC then these 'squatters' have no legitimacy and should leave.
