I still think the Russian army is 1) scary as hell and 2) respectable. If I were ever dumb enough to insult a soldier in person, I'd probably insult a US soldier over a Russian one. On the other hand though, I'd trust a US soldier over a Russian soldier... I don't know why. I think it's probably because I know that the US soldier isn't being forced to serve. =/
unfortunately Canada ,although also in recession,is increasing its budget for the military..........as a pro-russia person, i wonder how long can Russia allow itself »» to stay behind»»».......especially given the USA» »«talks initiative»» for their missiles deployment projects in Poland .....isn't it already painful enough that the world is laughing at Russia's military ? which used to be SO respectable and feared.

You underestimate Russia. That tell you on the TV about Russia, half lie. I from Russia also know better =)
