Two coal miners trapped after a pit collapse in Siberia are still missing. The search operation in Russia's Kemerovo region is continuing. Three other workers have been confirmed dead.

The incident happened last Friday. Seventeen miners were working underground when the roof caved in. Eleven of them managed to leave immediately.

On Sunday one of the missing men was rescued and is reportedly being treated for fractures.

Police are investigating whether safety rules at the mine were broken.
