Iran's Rouhani: Israel should sign non-nuclear treaty

26.09.2013 13:43

Iran has urged Israel to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Speaking at the UN General Assembly for the second time this week, President Hassan Rouhani called for a world disarmament conference to establish a nuclear-free zone in the Middle East.

Funny how the biggest preachers of democracy exercise oligarchy in world politics. Iran is the least of Israel's worries. Anyone who thinks on the contrary is too superficial to be interested in geo-politics.

"If israel were to give up their WMDs, it would be like bombing themselves. It's the only true defense against wars their not in. Most countries dispise Israel so much that they desperately won't them overthrown, so why would they want to give them up? So wars can start?"

Israel should introspect why it is hated in the region? Maybe Israel does not fit in? So it wants to remain in the middle east by hook or crook?

I have no idea why this has -5 votes when he seems to be saying exactly what most of the xenophobic people on here want him to be saying?

Rouhani repeatedly said his country would not give up its nuclear ambition and demanded that any negotiation must begin with the West retreating from, rather than intensifying, sanctions on the Islamic regime. But this was a clever move. Rouhani probably showed just enough leg in this statement to entice the U.S. into more talks about talks. In doing so, Rouhani probably bought Iran’s nuclear engineers and scientists as much as another year of time to get closer to their goal of a weapon that would destabilize the Middle East.

@Mohamed Ba Aden, I do agree with you. It's just 'cause west is so dependent on Zionist's money that they are willing to serve them, in whatever way possible.

I think the palestinians may be saying the same thing about Israel.

Ye s claire you are right but problem is that every thing is illegal of israel even as a country too...

I agree with the Iranian president that Israel must sign a treaty like all others in the area. But knowing that those Zionist controlling most of the world medias Israel will again ignore the demand that is asked by Rouhani and the other none Zionist controlled presidents. He had the GUTS to put that demand to the UN where no other Arab state dared to do before him. Still the Arabs are going to vote against his demands because they are in the pockets of ZION.
( If the world does not agree with Rouhani´s demands then there is some thing wrong with our world presidents and people)

@ Claire Verdonk
How can the Arab / Middle eastern people to accept an occupying force to their country dear? Israel has nothing to do in the area, those people came from all the world countries to establish a new country by calling it the promised land, I wonder who promised them this land? Those who promised them the land , they must give them a part of their own countries and not to send them to the MIDDLE EAST and specially Palestine.
One more thing, Do these people look like Middle Easterners ? By GOD NO
They are nothing but another race that doesn´t belong to the area that is called the MIDDLE EAST.

Well, if Iran or any country want Israel to sign non-nuclear treaty, that means they must first accept Israel as a legimate state and no longer be able to deny its existance.
How can you do not recognize them as a state but want them to sign that treaty.

The World should take a leaf out the NRA's handbook. If everybody had nuclear weapons, the World would be a safer place, as the US would have nobody to go to war with. As soon as you put up a Nuclear Free Zone sign, your going to get whacked. The only solution, every country has to be pack'n heat, and more Nukes makes everybody safer.
