How much have you studied the electoral college? No matter who gets the popular vote, their chosen candidates will always recieve the win through the electoral college. It is merely a way to keep voting power away from the people.

SSD7 08.01.2014 03:35

Ron Paul was getting the people's vote or the popular vote in every state. But, he didn't get the Electoral vote. We had only 2 warmongering losers to choose from. I still voted for Ron Paul. Voters must vote out this corrupt voting system.

Vot e Ron Paul next time, hopefully he will make himself available again[/quote]

I pray Edward Snowden win's the Nobel Peace Prize. That would make Obuma squirm.

Better yet, they should take away Obama's and give it to Snowden. Obama should have never gotten one for lying about his plans vs. actually doing them. Since it has all been proven to be lies.

I hold a great deal of respect for 'ALL WHISTLE/BLOWER'S&quo t; We the people have a RIGHT to know what goes on in our world.... And when Government say's it's protecting it's Country and want to discipline the person(s) for leaking information the the Government want's to be kept hidden...then you know, you must know, something is not right! Government does not want to listen to you...They want to control you... Stand up! Speak out! and honor your Country! After all it belongs to you, not your Government.... I applaud all Whistle/Blower's and encourage you to keep coming forward.... Edward Snowden your an inspiration!

In the 1500's a Taino Chief Hatuey, was burn at the stake alive, to demonstrate to all Native Americans when you 'blow the whistle' on the "Conquistadors& quot;., expect no less!
By the Way All Europeans were conquistador.
So we learned the truth Euro-culture accepts, is solely based on what is in it for Me as opposed to "You are your Brothers keeper"
So what is so hard to understand of the Indigenous peoples notion of FORK Tongue? The reward for truth be told is surely Guantanamo! Or Indefinite solitary confinement a new NORM, in the UNITED States Of Corruption. Oy VEH!

The USA constitution has been trashed. The supreme court behaves as puppets. Who are the pupeteers?

the USA will continue to be great...

There's nothing exceptional about America. Democaracy? They are not the only democracy. The American dream of owning a home? People have been owning homes since ancient times.

George W. Kucera 11.10.2013 18:55

With few historical exceptions, the bulk of all rights violations in society are "legal", as in blessed, permitted, or carried out by the ruling caste. Government IS the problem ailing society. This is true in the US as it is in almost every country in the world.

George W. Kucera 11.10.2013 18:54

Let's be clear, "The US Government" and "The US Citizenry" are not the same thing. Study political philosophy (say Calhoun) if you don't get this.

As individual liberty is less respected in a country, and waning respect has been the case in the US the past century, society becomes more callous and economically impoverished.

"US has abandoned the rule of law, betraying its own constitution"

Let's not talk about USA here...
USA it's a lot of great, smart, hard working people.
How, how is really abandoned the rule of law, betraying its own constitution, are few greedy criminals at the power.
So, please think before you talk about USA.
Those criminals will be gone soon enough and their names will be marked by shame, but the USA will continue to be great...

John Sinclair 11.10.2013 10:27

The US has ignored its own constitution? So what's new? The attempted genocide of the Indian Nations was against their constitution but still they did it. The Red man got them right ..... they speak with forked tongue.

Thank you for the courageous people who have stepped up to protect the integrity of the system for all citizens of all nations. These whistleblowers are without question; true heroes.

Sadly there are other people who climb into power and use the words of "freedom" as a slogan, but harbour only malice and self interest. These people fear public scrutiny as they have much crime to hide, and these are the ones who should be dragged into the public square and hung by the neck until they are dead.
