The Georgian use of cluster bombs would have justified a far sterner response than what the Russians gave to Saakashvili's in response to his insane attack on Tsinkval. I never understood why the Russians didn't bomb the two symbols of Saakashvili's pride and joy: The new Tbilisi airport and that "White House" monstrosity Saakashvili built overlooking the Old Tbilisi. The Saakashvili "White House" looks like a fat glass condom spreading its shadow over Tbilisi. Russian bombing of that monstrosity would have done the Georgian people a favor.
