Russia wins $US250 MLN MIG ‘gift’

Algeria has handed back 15 MIG fighters jets to Russia. The planes were sold around two years ago, but Algerian officials claim they were equipped with worn spare parts.
Russia says it will keep the advance payment of $US250 million regardless.
Russia sells its aircraft to a number of countries, including Syria and Iran.
