Russian court official assassinated

A Supreme court official has been gunned down in the Republic of Ingushetia in Russia’s North Caucasus. Khasan Yandiev, who was the court's deputy chairman, was attacked while in his car in the town of Karabulak. Police are yet to identify the gunmen. It
Yandiev was responsible for anti-corruption and the most grave crimes involving militants. Police believe he was targeted for his professional activities.
On Friday, a police officer was killed and two more people wounded in an attack on a police car in Ingushetia.
