The US spend most of their time criticizing Russia weaponry, because they know it good for business. but in reality Russian weaponry is the best in the world, and the US and the British know that very well. is anyone here yet mention that the Iraq Army used the Russian old model of T90 tanks to destroyed so many US Abrams tank and Britain Challenger tank during the early stage of the war. why is it you the US and Britain put a tight grip on the media not to show the world the Russian T90 tanks and BMP light vehicle to destroying the Abrams tanks and the Challenger tanks in Iraq, the answer is very clear. because the Abrams Tank and the Challenger Tanks would lost its value and popularity among t heir foreign buyer . the Russian T90 would has the advantage in sales and popularity among the US and Britain customer. I hear story about the reason why the US and Britain frighten of Russian, because of the amount of nuclear weapon Russia has, this is not the reason. the true reason is the US and Britain well know that the Russian Army with the T90 tanks alone could easily destr oyed Hitler Army on their own and free the whole of Europe. so they know Russia is not a easy push over as most people in the US and Britain think. So before anyone dear to criticizer the Russian weaponry first they should know the fact.          slightly off topic here but i agree, during some war or another (i think vietnam), there were americans using the (at the time) new M16s and the opposing force using AKs. Very quickly americans began to discover that their weapon was inferior as it began to rust much faster in the forest environment� �and jam often, and even resorted to taking the enemies weapons

obviously there is no room more to criticize the t90s anymore that hes a cheap t72 model blabla or anything like that
the thing even looks like an Abrams now or any other modern tank, not to mention that has an auto loader,shoots wider and costs less.

   &n bsp;  Diddly: Why don`t you find out how many Israeli tanks were destroyed by Egyptian infantry using Soviet-supplied Sagger missiles during the opening days of the Yom Kippur war? At this time, Egypt was a patriotic Arab country, before it became a US lackey.

1st.Very nice tank. i always was a fan of T line tanks.God.... i spent hours in arguments trying to prove prove something to tipical US people. And i know better then anybody that its not wort it.
2nd. To Oleg: very good knowledge about tanks 5+......
3rd. To all trolls whos bragging about their Abrams:- its total cr@p..... And why are we talking about RPGs destroying T90s??? Anybody with even, a bit of knowledge about taks knows, that with any tank there is no chance to save the machine if some one is shooting RPG from the side.
4th. LOL!!!! u dont even have to use weapon to destroy Ambrams,,, all u need is: a bit of sand or heat or dust, not sure about -30C, but i bet its going to F it up as well. I know that i exaggurated with the dust, but i hope u get the idea. Im not trying to prove anything, as i said its not worth it and its not possible. Knowledgeable people understand all the +s and -s and definitely know whats better. People who know 0- will stay that way, as u see here, they dont even want to listen.

The implementation of more sophisticated computerized targeting equipment, armor upgrades, and ammunition storage upgrades.  This T90MS is not to be confused with the initial T72 upgrade that formed the first generation of T90 MBT. This tank is quite something else, the interesting turret only tells me that ammunition and crew compartment is separated from each other, so we won't see,  anymore tank tower blow offs, with this configuration. If I was leader of a country, I would probably consider this machinery over any other western counterpart, and why is that? As with everything, if they own your banks they kill you, if they owns your military hardware, they kill you twice simple as that, so it's unfair to judge this machine out of cold war doctrine.

Russian tanks are best! I heard on russian news that russia makes the best tanks even though they have always lost to western made tanks. (Iraq war, desert storm) I always believe my russian propaganda, because I'm Russian and proud to be brainwashed! RT is the best and most honest site! It's run by unintelligent whiny losers, but still the best in misinformation and propaganda news!

You really are stupid, aren't you?. Georgia did not have western tanks, they had 200 Russian built T-72s, this is why they lost so easily. China and India buys Russian tanks because the west will not sell their latest tanks to them. Whilst Russian will sell their tin boxes to any despot who has a few dollars to spare

Like everything thats made in Russia, this tank can withstand anything. Take a Russian made AK-47 and an american made M16 and drop them in the mud for a day and pour sand down the barrels and into the chambers and magwells. The AK still comes out firing reliably, wheras the M16 is lucky to get off one shot without misfiring. Say whatever you want about the Russians, but they know how to build their equipment to last.

what I see again, the pattern - The T-90S export model (downgrade) had that strange turret shaping which I dont quite understand. There were two variants of turrets, but I have yet to really understand why there is sloping both up and down. When there is a shot deflection it is going to hit the hull from top angle, which I dont think is that heavily armored.The MS version seems to be the development of the T-90S export model, not T-90A again.It does really look modernised a lot, but you get the same pattern like in T-72 tanks.Export some T-72M, T-72M1 which are vastly inferior to machines like T-72A and are in general pretty much different tanks altgether. Both in rmor shaping, thickness, material used and things like the famous rangefinder. Th e turret design somewhat makes me think deflection leads to damaging the turret ring but thats just my guess.
