Russian Orthodox Church short of cash

Even the House of God is not immune to the global economic crisis. Russian Orthodox Church congregations are lacking money, with major benefactors and large corporations also saving on parish donations.
Where are all the nobelmen and the societies which emulated our christain heritage ,and left us with all these wonderous works of art.,we lost all sense of our heritage.tax the rich and make them pay up.if they can pay for all the priceless paintings ,they can pay for the churches upkeep.and not expect the average person to only pay.
may be this is why Russia want to ban Jehovah Witness's with over 200,00 of them the other faiths are losing a lot of contributions, maybe its because J.W'S can actually see were there contributions go, unlike other religions. As the bible says god loves a cheerful giver, perhaps that's what they have now become!.

The two crunches (financial and spiritual) are not closely linked. It’s not so easy. They have the same interface.
