During the second day of the inauguration process Georgia's re-elected President Mikhail Saakashvili swore a solemn oath on the Bible. The 40-minute ceremonial occasion was held in the Bagrati Cathedral in Tbilisi.
The country's top clergy and officials took part in the inauguration as well as members of the President's family.
The lengthy inauguration process seems to have lost even the interest of the opposition, which declined to draw a substantial protest to the event.
