19.06.2013 00:47

But what is happening in Europe, Canada and USA. The muslim women cannt practise Islam according to will and wishes. Wy veil ban is imposed. Have Guatomala prisioners some human rights. Why USA drone attacks on Pakistani innocent people.

Personally, I'm all for the veil being banned until women are allowed to wear what they want in Saudi Arabia by their own choice. I couldn't wear my English clothing there, why should they be allowed to here? Racist double standards.

Saudi Arabia is a blot on the fair name of Islam. It pains Muslims to see that their beloved Kaaba is in the hands of people who conduct themselves more as the Quresh of Kaaba's pagan days than any God fearing people from anywhere!

If the mother is Canadian why is the Canadian government not stepping in...

Because Canada is in Bed with Saudi Arabia just like US, they are in Bed with every Bad Regime.

Every Bad regime is an Ally of West yet we Bash Assay & Syria.

What more can we expect from a cult that desires to live in the 7th century, and treats it's women on an equal level with cattle. I truely believe Muslim men are frightened to death of women, and therefore feel they must subjugate them.

This is horrible. They need to free these brave women now

"What's awful about this is that these laws are meant to protect women FROM men."

Umm. No. Every time you here of an 'honor killing" or some other similar nonsense, its always, "They tempted the man." They may lie about it being "protecting the women from men", when its convenient to do so, but the reality is, they teach that its impossible for men to control themselves, its all the womans fault, and, by that logic, its the men's own inability to avoid temptations, or abuse, or rape, etc., being "protected" ;. The only protection the women are getting is the same that a diamond necklace gets, in a glass case.

Here in Wisconsin, we have a GOP Gov and legislature who put abortion bans and regulations in the BUDGET. Rich guys seem to have such a fear of women that must oppress us. And with good reason, we are stronger, more intelligent, and creative. Our worst problem is that we are more sensitive emotionally and fear greater and allow ourselves to be intimidated. The women in Saudi Arabia have been oppressed forever. We work for the day they can be free.

It's not the religion, it's people following it wrong. Guy should get arrested for entrapment.

What's awful about this is that these laws are meant to protect women FROM men. Unfortunately, those who are supposed to protect too often abuse, and twist their moral teachings to suit a malevolent purpose. I live in the U.S., where there is far too little human rights activism for the middle east. What can I do to help? We have to help these women, and all those who are oppressed, we have an obligation to our fellow man to do right and be better!
