The Chechen government plans to build a factory that, along with other electronics, will manufacture TV-sets called the Aimani, named after President Ramzan Kadyrov’s mother, Aimani Kadyrova.
According to Kim Pak, chief executive of the South Korean PINE-7 company and deputy director John Lee, the company plans to open an electronics factory in the Chechen Republic.
At the last meeting between the Korean businessmen and Chechen officials, the company officials presented a sample they plan to manufacture – a new television with the trademark AIMANI.
This logo was chosen by the Korean manufacturers to praise Aimani Kadyrova’s accomplishments within the Chechen republic. She heads the charity fund named after her husband, Ahmad Kadyrov, the former Chechen president assassinated in 2004 and has made many contributions to the country from this position.
The factory will also manufacture computers, monitors and mobile phones.
Chechen officials and the South Korean company are working out the legal agreements necessary to begin operating.
