“Tsar Cannon”, the creators of cutting-edge sniper rifles, has the only factory in Russia that custom makes rifles for the secret service to protect both Russia’s president and prime minister.
Production, however, does not stop there. In addition, the owner and chief designer Vladislav Lobaev personally builds the rifles used by Russia’s Olympic team of sharp shooters and hunting enthusiasts.
“If a person wants a real gun – they come to us. I believe we build the most accurate guns in Europe,” Vladislav Lobaev says.
The company was founded in 2003, and in 2005 Lobaev got a license for custom rifle production, which was the first of its kind in Russia.
The men who work in the company are not just manufacturers, but are also scientists. Using some of the world’s most sophisticated machinery to create these weapons, the plentiful trophies and awards they have won come as no surprise.
Lobaev assures that “They really are cutting edge weapons. We do a lot of research work for the government.”
In fact their research is so secretive that the RT filming crew was denied access to their onsite research and development center. After leaving the factory, the RT team trekked through nearby woodlands to a shooting range to meet with the secret service for demonstrations of one of their favorite sniper rifles.
“This is an extremely accurate weapon. It is very battle worthy. There is nothing like it in Russia,” shares one of the snipers.
The shots are remarkable accurate, so it is easy to understand why this kind of weapon is the first choice for professional snipers and for those protecting Russia’s top leaders. If one wanted to shoot out the eye of a rabbit at a distance of one mile, this is the gun for it.
Tsar Cannon plans to enter the US market in the near future where, even though the market is dense with similar companies, the number of shooting ranches is many times bigger than in Russia. Therefore there is a demand for the best, hi-tech rifles.

Nothing like the thrill of a stalled engine in midairWith nothing but a couple of frame tubes and strap belts to stop him from falling down, RT’s Ryan Dollard takes to the sky. But what will happen when the engine stops in mid-flight? See for yourselves. |

Military flash lasers underwater to make bang!US Navy researchers want to use a special laser to remotely generate sound underwater. It can be used for communication with submarines, sonar imaging and confusing enemy subs. |
Any machinist knows you DO NOT do a milling cut with a drill chuck! Clearly shows this in the video. Just had to point it out.
Iam tired of people, especially Americans, saying how Russians "copy" American military hardware. Don't even get me going on how much technology the US stole from Germany after WW2. ..........Ever hear of something called the jet engine?...how 'bout a rocket? ALL CREATED BY GERMANY NOT THE US

wish i could get one
