Space tourist returns to orbit

Billionaire Charles Simonyi is heading for the stars again on Thursday to become the first tourist to go into orbit twice – after his first trip to space two years ago.

The names of some of the crew for the 19th International Space Station mission have been announced.
Russian cosmonauts and their NASA colleagues, as well as two space tourists, are taking an exam in Star City near Moscow on Tuesday. The results will decide who’ll make up the crew of the next mission to the ISS.
It has been almost three weeks since a space tourist, Charles Simonyi, arrived back on Earth after his journey to the ISS. He has been re-united with some of his fellow crew members at a celebration in Russia's Star city.
The Soyuz spacecraft carrying the U.S. billionaire Charles Simonyi will return to Earth a day later than planned, giving the fifth space tourist an extra day in orbit. The Russian mission control centre has rescheduled the landing.
Space tourist Charles Simonyi is more than half-way through his visit to the International Space Station. The former Microsoft programmer is conducting scientific experiments as well as writing an online blog.
The new crew is settling into life onboard the International Space Station. The 15th mission left Baikonour space-launch complex in Kazakhstan on Saturday and arrived at the ISS two days later.
