Ukranian genius memorizes Pi to 30-millionth decimal place

A Ukranian neurosurgeon, Dr. Andriy Slyusarchuk, has set a world record in memorizing large volumes of data, reciting the value of Pi to its 30-millionth decimal place.
Wow I never knew it was possible.
We need the detail, when, where, who see it?
Perhaps my math is incorrect, but that means if he recited one digit per second, someone listened to him, without sleep, for 347 days straight. Bah.
wow....i guess if someone could do that it could be a break through in the scientific and educational community.
Does the value of pi recur after n decimal places ? I don't want to take away the success of anyone's ability. Surely, there must be a pattern of remembering so many digits.
Dr.Slyusarchuk record is not because he is a doctor, His brain produces high Chemical Energy-the factor in our mind maintenance.
disbeliever: It seems your math is correct as I've got the same 347 days. Paula: No, it does not recur, but rather changes without simple pattern. Slyusarchuk probably simply "sees" the whole sequence of digits in his mind, but the main problem is that he still needs a finite time to say each of them. I have heard for a case of one illiterate villager in Serbia's interior who was able to instantly recite the 35-th root of whatever number; he explained that he recognizes numbers by "their color"? Such was the type of the shortcut in his brain that numbers used to appear to him each by his own color.

I'm impressed!!!!!!!!
