Russian meteorite blast explained: Fireball explosion, not meteor shower

Russian scientists investigating the meteorite explosion in the Urals explained the nature of the event that caused havoc in the region. NASA said the shockwave force was equal to a 500-kiloton explosion – 30 times the Hiroshima blast.

Why do some people feel everything is political? This is an amazing natural phenomenon that didn't involve man. We just need to learn from it and enjoy its awesome wonders. I'm amazed at how many individuals have so much scientific backgrounds and explanations on what happened when it entered our atmosphere.
