New World Order wrote in #17 "Russia and China now play the same role that the US was playing throughout the second part of the 20th century: supporting dictatorships in the name of peace, stability and good old bussiness. The US has learned that dictatorships don't last for long and moved on; Russia and China have still to learn that." Oh yes. Democracies like the tyannies of the Arab Gulf States of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain&nbs p;and racist regimes claiming devine race superiority like the Zionists in Israel. Assad at least has initiated a democratic reform process for his country bringing togetjher most peace loving opposition forces in Syria to draft a constitution WHICH WAS APPROVED BY ALMOST 90% of the electorate. So Assad can no lomger be called a dictator. On its part the US has all but eliminated civil liberties in the US with the so called Partiot Act and has brutally suppressed popular peaceful protests of the occupy movement. So Don't say it has learnt anything or changed its attitude. On the contrary, in the case of Libya it destroyed the only examply of Direct People Democracy (Jamahiriya) and replaced it with a puppet tyranny.

The post Libyan Aggression by the NATO  and US abounds in evidence of the use of massive lies and bribery by the US, the UK, and France at the UN to have their way in destroying Libya. This has brought about a rise in the awareness of the whole world and is being translated into the unswerving opposition to this attempts on Syria despite all the noise and propaganda blitz against Assad by the imperialists and their followers.  Worse still everywhere , are their prospects of further success becoming due to the growing economic crises facing them, limiting their worthless currencies appeal as a bribe tool.

Wow, rt.com and most of its reporters towing the line unbelievable propaganda from this "news" agency. Is Putin your editor, un balanced reporting and very much toeing a Russian line instead of free opinion, your reports are blinkered and misleading, I feel the U.N monitoring is a step in the right direction but it's a case of too little to late. I was wondering how this channel reported the illegal war Russia created for Georgia, I really have lost trust for a lot of news reported today.

3. But Russia & China modified the text which calls for an immediate halt of violence by both sides & the Syrian government to comply with the demand to "withdraw heavy weapons from inhabited areas" as Anan's plan requires. So the withdrawal of heavy weapons is ntincically conneced to an immediate cessation of violence by both sides. Of course the US could say otherwise, but this is a loophole which the Syrian governemnt allies can bring forward to spit out the bait. So 1 point for Russia & China. The other point is conditioned by the composition of the observer mission. If the observer team is composed of neutral countries than we can easily award another point to Russia and China, for a draw 2:2. However knowing the US's art in deception I would not exclude the possibility of having foreign terrorists posing as Syrian civilians recounting prefabricated lies to make a case for another UN resolution allowing military intervention against Syria. In this case the score would be 3:1 for the US. However Russia and China could still use the VETO in that case as they are doing for Iran. So that again would put a balance to the score; 3:3. But if the UN observers are US lace lickers then the score again changes to 4:3 in the US's favour because these would definately be in Syria to contact their proxies and identify targets for a subsequent aerial bombing campaign and military aggression "for humanitarian reasons" without UN approval or to defend Turkey which again requires no UN mandate. Now, if China & Russia would want to counter such a NATO aggression their only option left would be to deploy their own troops in Syria in protection of their intersts and those of the Syrian people before NATO starts a fully fledged invasion. In such a scenario the most likely hypothesis would be that the US would back down. So everything hinges on which countries compose the observer team.

1. The US & co instigated their terror squads to intensify their terror campaign throughout Syria to put pressure on Russia & China to urgently approve a its own resolution to send in monitors without much modifications. 1 point for the US.2. The resolution calls upon the Syrian government to allow unhindered access to the monitors throughout the country not only where there are reports of breaches & to contact and interview ayone they want be it terrorists, infiltrators or CIA sleeper cells. This breaches Syria's sovereignty. The same thing happened in the resolution against Iraq to allow weapons inspectors into the country leading to the Iraq's destruction &am p; more than a million dead. 2 Points for the US.

Next we have to present a crying ambassador of X daugther to say, that the Syrians are ripping out babys from incubators and throwing them on the floor and the public opinion is crying. The games of propaganda are repeating itself over and over again, but the people still buy in to it without getting smarter.........

Western Media always reports "bloody deaths" of hundreds of 'civilians' every day. If these people happened to be groups of mercenaries wielding NATO-supplied weapons, would they still be classified as 'civilians'?
If I was a Syrian Army Officer who saw a group of psychotic hooligans armed with guns rushing towards me, would I drop my weapon and surrender myself to a cruel and prolonged death? Of course not, I would do anything I could to protect myself, my friends and my family from any maniacs who threatened the peace established by my country.

West ern media regularly hosts staged interviews with 'victims' of Syrian army violence, where the stories are written to be very brutal so as to elicit sympathy and passion for everyone opposed to the Syrian government. This reliance on controlling people emotionally is one of the reasons why Western demagogues always fashion tales to appeal to an unassuming public.

\quote\; The UN resolution calls ojn both sides to "cease all armed violence in all its forms," and for the Syrian government to implement the demand by international envoy Kofi Annan to pull troops and heavy weapons out of cities and towns. \the two conditions are equally essential for the success of Annan's plan. So if the armed terror squads don't stop shooting there will be no troop withdrawal from populated areas. Obviousely the US and its servile puppet states wil interpret it differently saying that the Syrian forces should first retreat then the terror squads would stop, but this is ridiculous.

It is questionable if these observers will change the outcome of this situation. It is looking like a planned regime change. When there are reports of US & UK Special Forces in Syria we are in the realms of Iraq when UK Special Forces were caught with bomb making equipment. We are experiencing a world designed by the USA.

Instigating Fake Arab Springs, or post-modern Coup d'etats: The Counter-Revolutionar y forces, headed by the United States, embarked on damage control. A major strategy in pursuit of this objective has been to foment Civil War and Regime Change in “unfriendly” places, and then portray them as part of the Arab Spring. The scheme works like this: Arm and train opposition groups within the “unfriendly” Country; instigate violent Rebellion with the help of covert Mercenary Forces under the guise of fighting for Democracy; and when Government forces attempt to quell the thus-nurtured Armed Insurrection, accuse them of Human Rights violations, and begin to embark openly and self-righteously on the path of Regime Change in the name of “responsibility to protect” the Human Rights. It is common knowledge that, like the Rebellion in Libya, the Insurgency in Syria has been neither spontaneous, nor peaceful. From the outset it has been armed, trained, and organized by the U.S. and its Allies.
