Norway has cut Germany’s lead in the Sochi medals table to just one gold after 11 days of Olympic action, thanks to top podium finishes in the biathlon and Nordic combined events.

The German team remains ahead in the overall medals count, with 18 medals, including eight golds.

Norway currently has seven golds, with just one separating them from the Netherlands and Team USA.
