I'm sure everyone has a sad story to bring sympathy into their lives, whether you're a 'Liberator' or a 'Freedom Fighter'. It breaks my heart to think of of how that family and community in Afghanistan is feeling right now and how they are coping. We forget that they are human beings as well.But the law is the law and ROBERT BALES SHOULD HAVE A TRIAL IN AFGHANISTAN AND BE HANGED FOR HIS CRIMES, alongside any others who were involved. That's the only way this can be partially resolved and start a road to some kind of recovery.

He does not need to be identified, he is American, thats enough. These brutes are bloodthirsty, I from Iraq by the way, and what America did in haditha is going to be repeated believe me, and if not it will be for a cruel purpose such as Obama pulling the devil soldiers back from a war that had no purpose in the first place. What a world we live in...

@blake:
Great post. I agree. I just saw on BBC where the US soldier's friend had his leg blown off the day before the murders. This was payback and mass murder by US troops. No way was this a random "snap" by a lone soldier as the Pentagon is pretending.

A soldier can become biggest Terrorist if he has support of his bosses or when a Country has produced Presidents Like Bush Who themselves were seen as biggest International Terrorist.

This whole thing stinks. I wouldnt believe a word of it just yet.

One lone Sergeant walks only 1 mile away from base to nearby villages, travels between villages while shooting 16 people and has time to try burning the bodies before an Afghan blows his head off  (Lets not forget that the villagers are allowed to have 1 weapon, such as a Kalashnikov, unless that has changed)...How is it that none of the villagers could take this 1 man out? Aparantly they diddnt even try.... Must have been overwhelmed buy THE ENTIRE TEAM ASSAULTING THEIR VILLAGES.

&nb sp;This is just my opinion, but I think there were definitely more men involved and they were operating under direct orders.

After my countries government (USA) killed all those SEALs in the helicopter crash to cover their tracks, I find it very hard to believe anything they put out that has to do with war.

This is what happens when the American government and the American military start emulating Israel and the IDF: they start acting like murderous, conscienceless animals.  The Israelis have been "advising" the US military for a long time now.  And the first thing the US soldiers have learned is to treat the "enemy" like they are non-humans, and with no mercy shown.  It is how the Israelis have treated the Lebanese, the Palestinians and others since 1947, and it is now the way our military acts toward the people who live in the lands we are invading. This type of mentality is also the result of the abortion mentality which has taken hold of what were once civilized people.  If we can kill our unborn children because they are inconvenient, what's wrong with killing innocent Iraqi or Afghanistani women and children?  What's the moral difference between the two? The USA is turning into a land of savagery and mendacity and thanks to the stupidity of people who continue to vote in swine like Bush and Obama, and thanks to the power of International Finance (and Zionism) which runs the show in the USA this is what you can expect. And it will get much worse before it gets any better.  The USA is fast degenerating into a tyranny every bit as evil as Communism and Fascism.  Perhaps worse.

Being told to fight a war nobody believes in, endless deployments and re-deployments because the US war machine hasn't got enough people or money to carry out their world domination plan, then when a soldier does get home there are no jobs and they have likely lost there home so they are stuck where they are....is it any wonder one day something goes snap in some of these people....if they don't snap there they snap here....don't blame the person blame the INSANE POLITICIANS and especially OBAMA...they are the real problem from top to bottom! *****Jake Diliberto wasn't making sense yesterday. None of the official story makes any sense. He's trying to say this guy was so proficient at killing, that he could do all of that walking and set the fires and everything by himself. I don't believe it.

I don't believe that base just let's lone soldiers walk off base into to dark. Diliberto says privates at the gate were probably afraid to say anything. BS. They would have been afraid for that guy and said something. Unless, he had about 18 others with him.

I don't think that base is ever really quiet. There were people on watch who must have seen him. Especially after 4AM, the last watch before 8AM and people are getting ready for daylight hours.
This guy "snapped", in theory, but made sure he didn't hurt himself or any Afghan or US soldiers or police. A breakdown isn't that methodical. Guys snap around here and they shoot their girlfriend, the guy she's cheating with, and then themselves. The official story just doesn't make sense.
