Humanitarian corridors in Syria: Way out of crisis or way in for invaders?

February 19, 2012 00:26

Europe seeks to bring relief to the Syrian people by creating humanitarian corridors, a seemingly noble idea aimed at winning Russian and Chinese support in the UN Security Council. But some are calling the plan a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

The situation is very serious, war in Syria is continuing, but there is a strong suspicion that President Basher al-Assad was killed in France, somewhere near Paris, with people of the top level involved! It is a serious message!

Would the UN also allow a corridor into Isreal as a safe passage for Palestinians to get foreign aid/in out of the country?

When pigs fly.

The only invaders who are at this moment within Syria are Russians and Iranians. But it looks RT does not see them as invaders. Talking about double standards.

The call for supply routes bringing humanitarian aid to Syrian is actually the call for cutting supply routes to Hezbollah and Hamas.During WW1, British and France were defeated at Gallipoli and withdrew from Dardanelles and focused on easier target. The Ottoman forces in Hejaz were at the end of a long supply line(Hejaz Railway).British and France with the help of Arabs, destroyed and cut this supply line and eventually defeated Ottomans. Now after 100 years Turks are cutting Arab's supply line.Isn't it funny?!!!

The "humanitarian corridors" sounds like a reintroduction through a back door a strategy of intervention by other means, a prototype of which was used against the Serbs in Bosnia. In practice, this means an introduction of supply routes for the select armed party to the war and a way for a possible future military intervention on the side of the same preferred warring faction. It is also a splendid reconnaissance tool.

Imagine that tomorrow UNGA is going to vote for "Humanitarian Corridor" to Gaza.
I do not need to be a clairvoyant.
Ther e would be 137 countries against. Exactly the same which voted for "Humanitarian Corridor" to Syria.

White revolution in Russia has failed. Small instabilities expected.

Col lapse of USSR was tactical move. A deal has been made between Orthodox and Muslims to bring down the US. 11 September 2001 was Coptic-Ancient Egyptian New Year. Russia made Arab-Islamist spring possible by beginning small military cooperation with Saudi Arabia.

After elections in Russia, Syria will be given to Sunnis. Iran will adopt Turkish model. Missile shields in Europe will be eliminated or put under Russian control.

Arab -Israeli alliance will be semi-functional, their conflict with Russia purely cosmetic. Vast solar-energy resources will be put under Eurasian control.

The US will collapse during the 2040s.

Welcom e to the chessboard!

Nothing must interrupt Nato's timetable.  As they say in Brussels, Sieg Heil!

Once again, did the head of the State Department really say about Muammar Gaddafi, we came, we saw, he died?  Come to think of it, for Slobodan Milosevic, they said, we came, we saw, he died.  For Saddam Hussein, they said, we came, we saw, he died.  For that double in AbbottAndCostelloVil le in Pakistan, who used to drink lots of Coca Cola, they said, we came, we saw, he died.

As a matter of fact, I'm from Chicago, and this is what the Mafia there used to do as well.

Yes, I agree with you about Zionist&n bsp;agenda. However, I never understand how you dare to accuse Arab people for supporting the Zionist agenda? The Pale stinians, who are the biggest victims  of Zionis t agenda, do fully support the Syrian people with their struggle against Assad's gang. My question is, who is really under control of the Zionists? Is it the Arabs or you the RT followers?
Just think seriously? Who is better for Israel? Is it Assad or a democratic government? Assad is definitely the best guarantor& nbsp;for Israel's peace. All the Arabs know that Hafez Assad came to power with support of the Zionists. Everyone knows that he was put into power by the Zionist to prevent Syria for freeing Golan and for supporting the Palestinians in Jordan. What did Assads do to free Golan from the Zionists? Before coming with accusations, please check the history and the facts.

Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion

10. in order to put public opinion into our hands we must bring it
into a state of bewilderment by giving expression from all sides to so
many contradictory opinions and for such length of time as will
suffice to make the "goyim" lose their heads in the labyrinth and come
to see that the best thing is to have no opinion of any kind in matters
political, which it is not given to the public to understand, because they are
understood only by him who guides the public. This is the first secret.

The&n bsp; Protocols explain everything happening in the world today, even way sites like this are subject to a massive and sustained Troll attack.

If UNGA votes in majority that my sister should be molested every morning before breakfast by a stranger, I'll be waiting for that stranger with a machete. Is it safe to assume that if the resolution was against your sister, you would keep yourself busy in the kitchen preparing breakfast for the stranger?
Do you understand what a "principle" means? UN is supposed to be protecting the sovereignty of member nations, not robber stamping the undoing of it. I would never believe the bullies would stop using UN to destroy Syria even if Syria walks out of UN membership now. Palestinians had no status with UN. But it gave their land to a bunch of thugs with guns who were not even a full member of UN. I see no other way out of this than Syrians fight heavy handedly to save their land, or at least their dignity.

toMI-7 to cannot talk about the  situation in the us which has come as a result of the broken economy. where people pour out the real cry of of the hardship&nb sp;they'are facing everyday ( skyrocketing family debts, unemployment and the real state crisis). that is to say there is apparently no political outsider motives behind it. In russia even if some people may be enduring&nbs p;the same problems as in the us their reaction is the result of the us several financial supports via NGO's to opposition groups in russia in order to gain control of the political process.    am i still emotional?
