Who is Syrian opposition? West has no idea

February 02, 2012 10:58

The West should drop the Libyan scenario when dealing with Syria. The country’s opposition is neither homogenous, nor ideologically transparent, and the West cannot be completely sure who it is supporting, political editor Mehdi Hasan told RT.

the west knows perfectly well who the Syrian opposition is, because the west is backing the extremist opposition. it's the job of western inteligence to find the craziest terorists, fund them, and get them to carry out violence.

Those most wealthy --- The most greedy Enzo Lion
“Fully agree with John Ellis... the average Westerner
must wake up from her/his seemingly endless lethargy.” LIGHT
As the voting majority in America is the 51% Most wealthy, and as the more wealth a man has the more he feels deserving of wealth, the only solution I can see is for the world to do to Empire USA what it is now doing to Iran --- bankrupting sanctions.

Political editor Mehdi Hassan told RT a lot of poo`s.Editor of Newstateman, the megazine that puts out what Whitehall wants, the megazine which supports Zionists interests  in England such as ,complete support for military regime of Israel, always regard democratically elected parties of Hamas and Hezbollah as terrorists.Avoid any form of publication, regarding Palestinian`s cause, always support USA`s military agenda in Middle east and her enemies to be labelled as "Islamists".RT seriously needs to be more choosy about some of these so called"political editors".Any Tom,Dick and Harry`s opinions from newstateman should be completely ignored in future.

Russia had a choice to make about who to support - Assad or the forces for democratic regime change and an election. Too late for Russia now because with a vote, the new Syrian government will turf the Russian navy base and cancel arms contracts.

There is no opposition in Syria. Those claiming to fight the Assad leadership is just a band of terrorists and street thugs. There are also thugs who have been living abroad doing menial jobs, completely frustrated. So with the political crisis in the country, these foreign-based thugs want to take the advantage, promising to bring democracy once president Assad falls. They have turned down all negotiation offers from the govt, because their support is very limited in Syria. If these thugs are singing the music of democracy, then they should face it by going to the negotiations table to iron out their differences and come out with a National solution which favours all Syrians. Western countries will not bring peace and democracy to Syria.

John Ellis:

LIGHT
Quite the reverse, for the West is the 51% most wealthy, most informed, a
ggressive and greedy in Western society and by their always voting for politicians best able to plunder by imperialism most brutal, we see clearly what their darling deceitful hearts are up to.

Fully agree with John Ellis.

If the West had the same skills in managing the economy, solve the debt crisis and create jobs paying fair wages that it has in warmongering, destabilizing other countries and financing and training terrorists, probably the Military-Industrial Complex of the West would have to retreat. As said in one of my previous post the MIC (Military-Industrial Complex) is literally taking the mic. And that is also because the average Westerner must wake up from her/his seemingly endless lethargy

Does it matter? All that is important is for Syrians to be free and democratic by getting rid of their dictator.

--- CORRECTION --- I say 51% most wealthy --- You say 1% most wealthy LIGHT
From my laboring-class and slave labor perspective I see that all of the 50% slave drivers are equally guilty with the 1% who own 80% of the wealth On the other hand, everyone here but me, they being part of the 50% slave drivers who own 20% or the wealth, they get a guilt-free conscience fantasizing that all corruption is done by the 1% most wealthy. Therefore, can we all agree that the 25% most wealthy belong in an open are prison? That way, bless your darling hearts, you slave drivers have only 10% guilt as you get only 10% of the wealth. I’m sorry, but that’s the way guilt works, its called "Cui bono," who benefits.
