It's really funny that the same people that would come here claiming that its a conspiracy, Assad would kill these people and blame it on the terrorist are the same people that would never say that 9/11 was carried out by factions of the US gov't.. Which national or international groups/interests are most powerful in Syria right now with Assad?

Which national or international groups/interests are leading the apparent civil war against the government?

I f this force is strong enough to challenge the Syrian military, they must be significant enough to have an identity. Surely an entire nation can not be struggling in a war against an unnamed enemy.

wesley If you think CNN, Reuters or BBC are even remotely associated with the truth, you seriously need to wake up and educate yourself. The west has no valid reason to even be in Syria. The plan is to convert Iran and Syria over to the central banks.

There's no such thing as 100% protection against acts of terror. The advantage always lies with the terrorists in terms of where and when. Syria probably guards it's most sensitive assets but even then, to quote Baldwin, the 'bomber will always get through'.  Good intelligence, vigilance and the will to see it through are the key to success, the measurement of which may be very small indeed.  It's a tough road ahead with ordinary the citizens bearing the brunt of the suffering, not soldiers nor politicians.
