Did anybody ask himself how it's possible that every so called "oposition" have so many weapons? In Libie the oposition had the newest america weapons to fight the government with. It's idiots to arm people which are not able to handle them correctly. The only thing happening everywhere there is civel wars to crack down a certain regime not popular in some other eyes. With enough people and peacefull good protest things can change. Now the result is killing from both sides. And I think any government has the right to fight armed people as it's against any law to fight with weapons because you don't like the government. Rea lly don't understand that all these opositions are so stupid to kill and fight...do you really think most of the people in those countries agree with this at all??? To speak about democracy!?!?!?  ;
Why we as the western goverments don't understand after all the killing done in Afganistan and Irak do not want to realize that such changes we would like can't be done this way and overnight. This needs time as people need to change..
Wa ke up all this is all about power not savety or helping democracy,  lol rt erased this comment... you say that the Libyans had new american weapons?what where they? because the the only weapons&nb sp;i  seen where ak47s and ussr era anti aircraft cannons mounted on the back of little pickup&n bsp;trucks

The weapons I saw seemed to be of Turkish manufacture. This is very interesting. I saw slide action top folding shotguns that are made in Turkey and exported-everywhere. It could have been a Remington, but that stock style is sold onlt to law-enforcement. I sense foreign meddling.

'Still in search of a solution

Mean while, Russia has declared its readiness to continue working on a new resolution on Syria and expects two delegations of the Syrian opposition to visit Moscow for negotiations in October.'
Yeah, right. Let them wait till October, more than 7 months away from today. So they can go on killing for 7 more months. And RT dare to call that 'searching for a solution?'

Usually RT has a pretty good analysis and most your Libya stuff was on target highlighting the illegal war NATO waged, but this time, you really blew it.  The people are defending themselves from an oppressive regime and you are acting as the propaganda mouthpiece of the Syrian dictator pointing to handguns and shotguns (against military assault rifles and APC's).  It is disappointing that you are acting like CNN but on the other side.

Civil war is always hell.  The Russians should understand that well enough.

Hold on: Russia and China equally opposed sanctions on arms trading to Syria. And RT wants to make us believe they are interested in a peaceful solution? I remind everyone that Russia has an important military base in the country and is the biggest supplier of arms to the regime. The veto is a veto against the Arab Spring. The message sent to oppressive, brutal regimes like in Syria is "go on, butcher those that demand reform and change, we've got your back." As for the violence in the video: it is impossible to verify who's behind it. But to say they are "the opposition" is completely subjective and manipulative journalism. Goi ng by previous experience in Syria, these may well be armed thugs stoked by the Regime, so that the Regime can say they are trying to keep the piece. Nowhere in the proposed resolution was there any reference to any forceful intervention, Libya-style or else. And western leaders have said, on a number of occasions that military intervention was not an option. Desisting from putting pressure on the regime, is certainly not a way to help a "peaceful political process". It's an encouragement to continue killing. Russia and China are now responsible for the violence that will only intensify.

hmm, is this also fake al-jazeera footage?

if they brought Libya down with fake TV footage, who can guarantee that this is real?

anyway, what is real? what the media shows?
yeah right as Garfield said years ago "If they said on TV it must be true!"

The same people who are arming the opposition to kill Syrian security personnel are the same group proposing sanctions and claiming to be 'angry' at Russia and China veto. NATO has discovered that the real deal is not Libya but Syria targeted at Iran. If I have to quote an RT commentator Enrique who captures it all like this:   It is a logical move from China and Russia.
The U.S. already controls by force most of the World oil reserves: Saudi Arabia and the other small Gulf Monarchies (former British colonies like Kuwait, U.A.E., Qatar...), Iraq (obviously, just look at the Ministers of Energy and Defense), Libya (after the last coup), Nigeria (Shell BP), Angola, Ivory Coast, Algeria (France ) Canada and Norway (both part of NATO) Apart from the U.S. and the U.K. themselves, still oil producers.
Mean while, the only oil World producers still free from American Domination are: Iran, Venezuela (even if probably will fall in the short term), Kazakhstan. Apart from Russia and China themselves, still large oil producers.
So, if Iran and Venezuela fall, China will find a TOTAL American World Domination of Oil resources endangering China´s energy security. China needs oil production countries to be independent, not U.S. puppets. The US and EU will use energy domination to control Chinese growth, therefore China acted to protect its strategic interests.   The error for NATO is that the UN resolution used to invade Libya would have been used against Syria in March because Gadhafi has already been softened up and Italy was in control of the oil there (though France wanted a piece of Libyan oil). But now everyone is now aware of the geopolitica l interests of NATO which has nothing to do with protecting civilians.

It is all of the fault western countries fault what happened in the Syria.   I know what western countries try to accomplish in the region.   I am going to say them. It is enough for them to make mess in the region.   Otherwise, they [western countries] will see same things what happened in the western asia or middle east.

Shame on NATO and its minions for their wars and destruction to subvert soverign countries. Hopefully the Middle East and Africa will not fall to their designs, otherwise their people will live in servitude to capitalist debt to the money and corporate barons.

Peaceful protestors... Right...
Libyan protestors were equally peaceful as we see now.

Though I believe there are genuine HR problems in Syria, they are intentionally exagerated and this kind of violence promoted by certain western countries (as we have seen in Libya) in order to eliminate any chance of peaceful solutions of problems and to provoke military reaction.
