Taxi for Turkmenbashi! Former president’s statue heads south

The twelve-metre tall golden statue of Turkmenistan’s former President Saparmurat Niyazov is to be relocated from the centre of the capital Ashkhabad, due to an order from his successor Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov.
