Murdered Turkish journalist to be buried on Tuesday

A trial over an alleged anti-government plot has resumed in Turkey. Eighty-six suspects are accused of conspiring to overthrow the country's government. The previous hearing was disrupted when the defendants and their lawyers claimed they couldn't hear an

As a result the number of people in the dock has been reduced to 46, while the other 40y have been freed to await trial.

The defendants, who include politicians, lawyers and journalists, are alleged to have formed a nationalist network intent on destabilising Turkey with a series of terrorist attacks.

The case highlights deep divisions in the country between religious and secular supporters.
