Er all the comments saying this wasn't reported in the UK - of course it was you fools. Every single news broadcaster on every channel reported on it, admittedly is was not the number one item - the attacks in Syria were. Some of you are unbelievably gullible.

"Prime Minister David Cameron's spokesman stood by the austerity program: “This government inherited the highest deficit in the G20."

Really? Is it not true that debt is a contractual obligation. Since the contract is fraudulent one, with the advent of promissory notes masquarading as money, there is NO contractual obligation for performance, to pay the banks anything.

The proposed pension reform is a spiteful step. As a consequence, the public sector staff will pay more and work longer for less. Protest is justified from all accounts.

People need to realize that corrupt governments owned by finance prefer water cannon and other crowd dispersal inventions over listening to and bargaining with the public. This is the stance they have already chosen, whether it be North America or Europe.

Peaceful protests are going to get you nowhere. Peaceful protests are simply written off as an expense for law enforcement to handle. It is a sad state of affairs, but without broken windows and widespread disruption of commerce, no protest is to be taken seriously anymore. This has been the status quo since nearly a million people worldwide attempted to protest the invasion of Iraq to no avail.

Your peaceful little marches are now viewed as quaint events in need of containment. They have become so self-assured in their own power that now they come right out and tell you: your protest marches don't mean anything to us. This was true in Greece, in Spain, in the student protests of Quebec, and it is the same recited line in the UK.

What they are telling you is that short of violence or bringing the state to a financial standstill, we don't care what you think anymore. I know this is shocking, but that is where we have arrived. Nobody said it was going to be pretty. There are cockroaches running all of these governments now. Whether you live in Europe or North America, it is time to come to terms with the ugly fact that being polite about grievances is not going to change anything anymore. We are all in this together.

Workers everywhere must take a stand against the politicians and the multinational corpo rations that support them.  The common and everyday people are expected to pay for the overspending of wreckless governments.

That's what happens when you build yourself an infrastructure where a large percentage of the population jobs are only on the government dole. Take note of this America

It’d be nice to see some of the protesting cops get the same treatment they meet out to other protesters: kettle them, beat them, fire stun grenades to their faces and see how they like it. No truce with the pigs! Don’t let them march with the rest; the pigs can suffer like they earned it.

The governments and transnational corporations are crushing the common and everyday people.  Workers everywhere must unite.

because this is the WAY the AMERICAN Empire's Example of "new coverage" goes....don't cover the REAL news lest the people in general KNOW too much . then - this way -- the "demonstrators and strikers" can be painted as "malcontents" and "on the fringe" with nothing in common with the general public....
of course the general public likely KNOWS the strikers ARE "of us".
what they DO about THAT, regardless of what the news "covers" or suppresses , is the real question.
what are the REST of the brits going to do about it?.
