Ukraine’s president has said that the country’s gas giant Naftogaz has no money to pay for Russia’s natural gas delivered in December. The sum of the payment comes to $892 million.

So the poor Ukraine can not pay their gas bill again! Even I have to pay my gas, water and electric bills. As I have said before, Belarus and the Ukraine are poor business partners. In their present financial situations they are liabilities to Russia. This is partly due to the break-up of the USSR, which had common economic and energy policies.
