Ukraine: more rallies against early elections

More massive rallies are expected in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, on Thursday, after thousands of people took to the streets, to show their opposition to early parliamentary elections.
Ukraine's President Viktor Yushchenko and Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich are still at odds over the exact date of the vote, with the Prime Minister calling for an autumn election and the President insisting on holding it as soon as possible.They have asked a working group – set up to pave the way for early polls – to continue consultations for two more days.10,000 people have gathered in Kiev's Independent Square in support of Prime Minister Victor Yanukovich.
