‘Not for Pub’: US drew up secret Assange charges – Stratfor leak

February 28, 2012 16:16

The US prepared a secret “sealed indictment” on Julian Assange over a year ago. That comes from a recent Stratfor mail leak published on a drip-drip basis by WikiLeaks.

It's not the "whole World's" dirty laundry that's being hung out to dry just that of the U.s. and its cohorts. However, none of the revelations should come as a surprise to anyone as there's a long history of U.S. double dealing and covert activities worldwide. IN reality, from the very first Europeans stepping upon the shores of North and South America they've engaged this type activity and in their minds since it worked why bother altering their method. What did the world community do about the recent "illegal" Iraq war the destroyed the nation? Nothing, if people are not punished they continue on.

If the Nobel Committee has any intention of salvaging their rather tainted " Nobel War Prize" - I am sorry, I meant to say, " Nobel Peace Prize" they should split it between Julian and Bradley.

Oh dear.. Mr Assange is in it up to his eyeballs. If he manages to get out of this mess in Sweden, do you honestly think that the governments of the world are going to keep putting up with their dirtiest of underwear hung out for all to see in perpetuity. Instead of publishing the documents he should gone to the docks in Somalia, pinned a $100 bill to his posterior and screamed " VICTIM HERE!!"
Sure he and Anonymous are opening the eyes of the population to the real underhanded truths and killings but at what cost? I agree and disagree with his motives but to publish movies of US soldiers killing someone on the web for the families to see, that is not cool.
If Assange avoids being transported to the colonies his number will come up sooner rather than later. Accidents happen all the time!
You must remember, if you can, that governments are our servants not our masters. But with the political system being stacked by lawyers the world over, it is not surprising that they don't like being SERVANTS.But as an Ozzie, all I can say is:  GOD SAVE THE IRA!

This all looks so fake.  As Putin says, it's not the first time.  But our media sure made a big deal out of it...  What can ordinary people do anyway, even with this knowledge?  All he did was demoralize us and keep us from our blissful innocence that we're born into, make us hate ourselves.  It's like speaking gibberish though really.  Even if I know the codes of the weapons, I don't own them, and I can't get to them, and they're protected anyway.  It's just like when you bust an agent that's on your back; you won't win because they have control.  The only reason I survived was because i created massive amounts of chaos.  You can't all kill me.  LOL They called me the genius for that one so then of course they put me down.  "You think you're smart, but you're not."  Um, no, I am special ed.  The only reason I know what to do is because it's a constant in my life.

The headline should read the US Trumped Up Secret Assange Charges not drew up, but I guess it means the same, the US is the definition of No Good Lier and Cheat.

"Bradley Manning and Julian Assange should be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize."
I agree. Take it from Obama and give it to these guys.

If it could be proved that the US had intended to torture Assange, perhaps that could offer a basis to prevent extradition; 'torture, cruel and unusual punishment', have been cited in the past as grounds not to extradite. Whether there is a country prepared to stand up to the US and not have it's citizens tortured until they break is another matter. Bradley Manning is the key to getting Assange, so I guess the hapless soldier's courts martial will reveal America' s next step.

Only because I love you...  I'm still trying to take you out, baby ;-) I love you; I hate you, like a four year old.  I want out of Kali Yuga. Wah.  I'm playing a giant video game on a spaceship, remember, oh God of Heaven?  Indra.  In order to win the game, I have to take out the controllers before the dinosaurs tell them the great secret.  If I kill enough dragons, I get a baby.   I had some sort of secret thing brought against me, which was ridiculous.  Just look at all of them on YouTube and everybody knows.  Academia has been saying it forever.  I was just a mad girl because they tried to kill me 2 weeks after I left.  I think we should get the first five years before evil angel comes or at least until our 25th birthday.

If this is true, it is very important that Sweden won´t  Assange .
Swedish laws and lawsystem is corruped and controlled by polititians.
And CIA are running the security-forces and Swedish police.
Conspirac y ?
Noop !
I live here.
So it is very important that whstleblowers exsists.
And in Sweden, there are allways reprimands for any whistleblower being caught out ! In Sweden the use of the word "rape" is rediculous .
It is a obvious risk that CIA will collect Assange if he gets extrodited .
CIA have collected prisinors before in Sweden. They just arrive and take over...
It´s happened before with the Swedish polititians blessing .
We can only hope the courtsystem in Britain will understand and be fair.
I have read the charges in Sweden.
How the f-ck this has anything to do with rape ?
Sex with full consensent between the parties.
But Julian did not use a condome !?
Is that enough to charge somebody for rape ?
The free word can be a threat to any regime or gouverment...

Totally agree, but may I change one word from your comment:  "nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize" should rather become "awarded the .."

U.S. secrets? How do they classsify facts within the public domain as "secret", I wonder? Just because you take a stamp marked secret and stamp a newspaper article "secret" doesn't make it so. Most of what has been revealed by Wiki-leaks was already known. What Wiki-leaks did was only to provide confirmation . Bradley Manning and Julian Assange should be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Ooops the US govt seems to be leaking information quite seriously, LOL. Maybe that’s why they are so hell-bent to finish him, because they know there is no protection of their govt “secrets.” And perhaps why so paranoid on their national security issue.
