US a very young nation with too much power – ex-Pakistani spy chief
May 31, 2011 08:25
Amid the fallout between Washington and Islamabad over the killing of Osama Bin Laden, RT spoke to Hamid Gul, former chief of Pakistan's Intelligence Agency. He calls the US a haughty empire spoiled by a sense of authority.

Israeli Intelligence agents were not the only people filming 9/11 as it occurred.
Of course, when the high quality footage comes out in decades to come, only then, will people start to wonder.
All this from a plot of a few people to bring about systematic change for the benefit of profit, and geopolitics. Some may say that they almost pulled it off. But in the end, it will all come undone.
The U.S. is not young. The U.S. Constitution is the oldest in the World, and it became an independent nation a long time before the rest of the World. Not Tru SIR. For example this country .From the 10th century to the 16th century, Holland proper was a unified political region, a county ruled by the Count of Holland. By the 17th century, Holland had risen to become a maritime and economic power, dominating the other provinces of the Dutch Republic. And for sure the USA is Arrogant And a Bully . And look how much money and manpower you spend on FBI and CIA and more and are you safe? And your an Plutocracy and for sure not an democracy
The U.S. is not young. The U.S. Constitution is the oldest in the World, and it became an independent nation a long time before the rest of the World. Argentina got its Independence in 1810, Mexico and Brazil in 1824, Cuba in 1898, Panama in 1905, Estonia and Ukraine in 1920, India in 1947, Vietnam in 1956, Algeria in 1963, Angola and Mozambique in 1975, Djibuti and Belize in 1982, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in 1991...... So, the U.S. is one of the OLDEST nations in the World, even if not as old as Western European and East Asian nations. If we talk about History, the colonisation of the U.S. by Britain started at the beginning of the XVII Century (1607, Jamestown) while the colonisation of Australia started almost two centuries later, at the end of the XVIII Century (1788, Sidney), and half a century earlier than South Africa (1652, Cape Town), and a century before Chinese colonisation of Taiwan (1709, Taipei)..... Even if European Russia is centuries older than America, the colonisation of Siberia started at the same time as the colonisation of America.
Since when did a nation that participates in nuclear blackmail, harbors international terrorists and was invented in 1947, get the right to lecture others on age & arrogance? Maybe someone should add 'hypocricy' on the list of Pakistan's detractions...
I agree with him what he said if U.S. likes to withdraw his ground troops from Afghanistan.
U.S. will need Pakistan in order to save his face in the South Asia.
If U.S. still likes to fight the war in Afghanistan, it is the choice of current U.S. president or coming next U.S. president to decide whether he likes to work with Pakistan government or not.
It is very strong statement deliv ery from him to the leadership of U.S. if the leadership of U.S. likes to expand his military operation in to the heart of Pakistan.
U.S. will see WW III in the region as well as around the globe.
I am glad that Pakistanis proffer an Indic Perspective upon current protest of Hamid Karzai, the carapace of those peoples led to independence by Mohatma Ghandi, even that freedom of expression be a sincere art. Yet the American Psyche is also greatly Indic not merely via association with the Inexplicit lore of Mohatma Ghandi, whom pondered disaffection at his wife's bed as embittered Kshatriya ( Indian Warrior ).The chain of protestation runs constant in this Iranian Line of Historiography concerning the death of Osama Bin Laden and defers to the USA's numbing fear of dealing with the aftermath of 9/11 as clear and present solicitation of the US military by foreign forces. Pakistan is a strong Nation with a powerful Military Heritage, but it is a younger sibling to the continuity of the Anglo-American Historiography. It should seek the declarative honesty of the elder's thought for the benefit of all. In fact the substance of the Round Table, rather than the whispered agreements of a single Knights single audience with a single point of departure.
Arrogant yes, young nation yes, but this pimp and his triple crossing nation was more than happy to take the US billions in fighting the war on terror?
His nation has is also a young nation and they still cannot get along with India a nation much older than many in the world
Sociologically and historically speaking this man is correct. The United States’ greatest weakness is lack of centuries of civilizational tradition. This is probably the real reason the United States often makes unnecessary and counterproductive mistakes an old civilization would have avoided.
