I also agree that fashion industry is not democratic. I am a man, and I do not find many top models, who are crowned by fashion industry insiders, more beautiful than ordinary women. As a mater of fact frequently I find ordinary women much more beautiful than so called top models!! For example, in my opinion the reporter of this clip is more beautiful than the models she showed in this report. I think there are a few self proclaimed judges who think they know better than the rest of us what is beautiful and what is not, they forget that beauty is in the eye of beholder! The fact is top models are appointed by fashion industry insiders, and not popular vote. I love to see one day people get to elect and crown these models. I think Russia today can start a beauty contest and ask candidate around the world who want to participate to upload their pictures, and viewers elect democratically the most beautiful women on bases of one man one vote.
