March 31, 2012 04:06

The Australian government has blamed WikiLeaks for a “reckless, irresponsible and potentially dangerous” disclosures of secret information. It is also delaying the release of diplomatic cables on the matter after the US expressed concern.

I think viewers of RT deserve some explanation as to why the "The World Tomorrow" never aired in March as promised. On that note, I have been disappointed by the lack of advertising for the special. Why hasn't a date and time been set? What's with the silence? If this is supposed to be a responsible news network, then why hasn't the public been updated with progress? I worry that information has been suppressed somehow. This is a scandel.

@RTrocks   (it does rock, indeed - 'grateful to RT)

I'm aware of Assange's statement in regard to 9/11.  I think I know where he's coming from...   As I wrote in one of my previous posts, Assange is scared for his life and he's not a hero - he's not prepared to sacrifice his life for a greater good.  I was only hopping that, when no other options left to him, that he, or one of his staff would release something more important, such as 9/11 communications.  ; It would be naive to think that either he or any other sane person excepts the official version of 9/11.  I'm positive that he's holding back some information for fear of persecution.  What does that make him?  -   & nbsp;  &nb sp;    ; - I leave it for others to say...

of course australia is forced to say what it has to say by americans. australians go out of their way to support america. first off, the people are isolated and quite slow, secondly, america is a huge importer and prospector in australia.

Jullians extradition is not "officaly" related to the wikileaks cables...It is officaly about an alleged sex assault&nbs p;which is claimed to have been a setup.

As an Australian I feel ashamed that our government& nbsp;has stabbed him back and turned on him. I feel the government and their contractors tur ned on him as documents revealing their dirty scandles were released to the public, the only thing "reckless and irresponsib le" in them were the ones who formulated the cables.

If the US get their hands on Assange we will most likely receive& nbsp;more of a punishment then the Solderer who shot up 18 Afghanistan& nbsp;civilians.
J ustice in the modern age..

Last week Anna Harmer, an official of Australia’s Attorney General wrote to a legislator that “debate about the WikiLeaks matter is not about censoring free speech or preventing the media from reporting news,” The Sydney Morning Herald reports. She also confirmed the government’s focus on WikiLeaks’ “reckless” and “unauthorized” disclosure of classified material.

No. This is all about a warning to others about information other than a government propaganda source.

According to the UN, Australia must accept 10,000 immigrants per anum.

Australia is just the 52nd state of the USA (after Canada). We are not independent enough to have control over our domestic issues.

Our Carbon Tax was introduced without giving the public any say.

The US will set up a miliary base in Darwin to ensure they can safely stop Australia's once bugeoning trade with China.

We are flooded with huge numbers of immigrants each year that our infrastructre fails to cope.

If anybody tells me that such policies are not influence by outsiders, I stop listening. In any case most Australians are dumbed down and refuse to believe in 'conspiracy theories' because presumably they refuse to believe that they have had the rug pulled from underneath them - most still think they live in a democracy - they still believe that politicians represent either left
or right ideologies when the reality is that the two parties represent the 2 headed snake.

What does all this have to do with Assange? Our politicians are being played by US interests and they just propagate more BS.

Australia is always someone's btch. Whether it is messes at Emu Fields, Woomera or Rum Jungle.
Curiously , the naughty Australians are triggering radiation network alarms in New Zealand from releasing radioactive gases from their Sydney facilities. Detection depepnds upon their fuelling cycle. Several times it has blown over Sydney and Melbourne.
Recent Rad Net monitors in the UK were turned off when one of their facilities planned a night time release, and the weather stalled leaving radioactive gases loitering over large areas of London.

No, Australia isn't a sovereign country - never has been.  Australia is a colony of Israel/US/UK.  Australian politicians are mainly answerable to the Jews.  Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce convenes ever so often for the benefit of Israel.  Something similar to the US and AIPAC.
Julian Assange can expect little help from his fellow Australians who are as apathetic as the Americans are, let alone from the Zionists' run government.
Assange has done more than anyone in recent times by exposing the secrets of the criminal evil doers and for that he's wanted in the US.
He still has got some aces up his sleeves and I hope that one of those is the information on 9/11.  Perhaps he keeps that as his last defense.
I'll break it to you gently... but Assange doesn't believe that 911 was a conspiracy. He defends the official government version of what happened that day. And he has absolutely no respect for '911 Truthers'.

It is for this reason alone that I cannot trust the integrity and character of Assange and believe that he is just a CIA stooge designed to release contrived 'leaks' to take people's focus away from the REAL issues.

For example, to release videos of US soldiers shooting civilians is not enough to get the crowd mad enough to want to start a global revolution. But if Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Powel, etc... were brought to justice for crimes of treason (911) it would bring down the NWO.

Chomsky is another person who doesn't believe that 911 was an inside job and has no respect for those who want to continue to pursue their fight for justice. I suspect he also on the CIA payroll.
