June 27, 2012 14:29

Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales has got over 70,000 signatures on a petition to save a British student from extradition to the US over copyright infringement charges. British MPs say the treaty as a whole is unfair and demand it be overhauled.

Hollywood has lost the plot - ALL business needs customers with cash in their hands to support business – what planet is Hollywood on? Look around, California is hurting economically -Europe is hurting -around the world -its the same – Hollywoods main customer base is going broke. The cost of enforcement for their nonsense takes further monies out of the pockets of their customers -foolish people. Add to this Hollywood produces not much worth watching – not even for free. Sorry Hollywood but dont you think that crashing TV sales are an indication of some hard times to come? Do Hollywood CEOs thinks that these copyright laws will do anything for their bottom line? -when the main customer base is becoming broke by the day. Hollywood is in for a ruff ride that no bogus law will prevent. All the money Hollywood has payed to lobbyists and government would have been better spent giving their customers the money – at least they would get something back.

Let the boy be taken to America...and Julian Assange.

Even the Zioniss in the USA and Israel are beginning to see that the Rothschild Empire globalised the world long ago and that Jewish people have been loyally supporting financial criminals without realising it...and suffering persecution while the Rothschilds are safe and secure.

Don`t revolt...that`s what they want so they have the excuse to close the Internet.

Let the system collapse under the weight of its own fraud and express you contempt by not voting and booing and hissing all politicians wherever they go.

And start to publish lists of the people who will be facing very long jail sentences for what we now know is systemic corruption while you re-assure ordinary Jews that this time it will not be them who suffer.

It would help greatly if some Jewish people who "talk" radical politics actually opposed International Jewry and supported Palestinians. Is there a socialist Labour Party in Israel or is it just a collection of the usual  Zionist Neo-liberal crooks and traitors we have in British Labour?

Perha ps it`s time to form more global radical mainstream media as well as RT.

"Copyright infringement" should strictly be a civil matter between such private parties, and the government should not be strangely involved.  Moreover, even if such reference is made to "copyrighted material", the burden should be upon the copyright holder to show an actual loss of money.  Are they losing money when iTunes sells old songs for one dollar a song, and with very slow sales at that?

This is just another example of how the USA sees itself as the world ruler and every other country is subjected to it's self proclaimed rule in some way.To them it's only logical that if some world citizen does something to annoy them somewhere that he/she should be brought back the world Headquarters to face punishment.I'm so fed up with it.The world needs a change.

@Eurasian:

Pr oblem with them, one has to go via sweden first (which will not happen, as he will shurely go to Ecuador ;-)

The other one is American, has taken the data on the job (in the army, which makes it worse), and is already jailed.

As he will be prosecuted by the military, he will go to Leavenworth and rott there.

Person ally, I would like to see him and JA get the Peace-Nobelprice instead of Obama...

... strange world, istn't it ?

I want to sign the petition. The Regime in Washington and the US Congress/State Despotment will do everything to suppress free speech whilst in the meantime they find it fine to be calling for "Regime Change" backed by terrorists in any country.People rise up and get your guns and fight the US Says of other countries. But if students decide to protest in the US they get their Skulls crushed by Baton wielding ex Iraqi/Afghanastan soldiers now Cops or pepper sprayed in the face.Free speech has gone in the US. The UK will do whatever the US wants even if it mean putting a bag over their own citizens heads and marching them off to Gitmo. Whatever the US wants.Russia we need you now to stop the Tyrannical Regime from continuing these new Wars because at the end of the day they are anti US and China

Why does Jimmy Wales let Zionists sit on any page about Israel on Wikipedia
and if someone changes it to the truth, instead of the official Israel propaganda
story, it gets changed back right away.  Could it be because Jimmy Wales is
Jewish?  Yep another Jew that the family changed the name to make them
sound more "Anglo Saxon".  Wikipedia is worthless unless it's about something
that has no political bearing, I mean they can't lie about the boiling point of
water, but anything political on Wikipedia, don't believe it.
Funny how now he's concerned about "Freedom" when he runs the biggest
propagand a web site in the world. Makes good press, but he's about as
sincere as when the Americans say, "We have to invade this Middle East
country (Pick the country you want and write it here _______) cause we
have to win freedom for them, oh and take their weapons of mass
destruction, (Place other lies you can here as reasons __________)
LOL

This is a direct result of "capitalism" within the American prsion system. The incentive is to fill the prisons by any means necessary. The profit push has no business in government policy, unless we want fascism. The US government is currently like a car speeding at 100 mph without a steering wheel.
