World number one Justine Henin is up against Russia's Elena Vesnina in her third-round singles match. So far, it's all been going the Belgian’s way. She raced ahead to take the opening set 6-1. It was 3-2 to Henin in the second set when rain stopped play

Another Russian – number eight seed Anna Chakvetadze – is playing Michaella Krajicek of the Netherlands.

In today's other game, Ukranian Alona Bondarenko is a break down against Swiss Patty Schnyder.

Meanwhile Marat Safin will take on Roger Federer a little later on, on Centre Court.

The World number one is ahead 7-2 on previous head-to-head meetings, but Safin is looking forward to the challenge.

“Well, for me it is an opportunity to play a great match,” said Marat Safin.

Roger Federer is chasing his fifth successive Wimbledon title.
