In less in 40 years elegant French and Italian wines might become a memory as major wine-producing regions like Bordeaux and Tuscany are predicted to dry up due to climate change, a new study shows.

way to go "just drink beer!" but hops also grow in climates that are similar to grapes. Considering the wines in Italy are favored because of the volcanic ash in the soil I don't see Italian vineyard-men leaving so soon, maybe shade grown like Cuban wrapper leaves, possibly with an added mister system. Climate change effects all hardiness zones and threatens countless orchards, vineyards, and historical crop growing lands... maybe now it's time to become more responsible with our money, greenhouse emissions, and farming practices/ policies, especially in the United States where all we fear is inconvenience.
