I would like to see OWS morph into a political party for the next presidential election. I think it could obtain adequate funds from the millions of those disaffected by the current political process. While Obama would be the loser in the next election, what's the difference? Obama is no different than the Repubs. Sure, he gives lip service to the people but that is all he gives. His policies are essentially in line with the Repubs. You can't help but notice how the Tea Party agenda made it into the Republican platform, while the OWS agenda is not making it into the Democratic Platform. This should suggest that the Dems are not what people think they are. So it is time to abandom them altoghether and form a new people's party with an a people's agenda.
At last, it appears that humanity is waking up to the truth of divine creative ground reality, slowly recovering from mind deluded colorful projections of greed beleaguered hope, based on speculative virtual grounds.
Philosonator, that is the most extreme and scary stuff I saw on this site so far -- this is really a call for a revolution. I don't know which one specifically, because, part of you sound like a communist (anti-bankers stuff) and part -- as a fascist (anti-jewish stuff). Why I am saying this is the most extreme -- because you are hitting nail on the head -- you really show the practical solution. Why it is scary? Because, if it started on practice -- we will be quickly heading to the WW3. The last time such things openly and publicity sounded in the 1930s, in Germany...
The U.S. will eventually topple not by the OWS movement but by the overexpansion of the military empire. To be able to support the 800 military bases and to fight perpetual wars Washington must continue to borrow money and cut domestic spending. Who profits and who doesn't from this economic paradigm. The corporations selling goods (including weapons, etc.) and services to the military machine profit immensely. The corporations that opportunistically expand into the occupied lands such as the Persian Gulf and Caspian Sea region, such as oil and gas companies profit immensely not only from the expanded marketplace but from subsidies and tax cuts. The banks that loan the money to Washington to pay the Pentagon profit from interest rates. The politicians that do what the corporations demand profit by keeping their offices and privileges. It is the 99% that do not profit because in order to keep this ponzi scheme going more and more services must be cut.
The "99% awakening " in the
world is significant, but still unfocused. True revolutions against
bank system, insurance racket, corporate business, etc. will occur
once protesters understand direct connections between 1% and
Zionists. The money handlers and corporate interests want to rule all
societies on their own terms, and soon, the individuals and groups
who are pulling the strings to make it happen will be exposed.
Consider: what (who) is the most influential group (PAC) in U.S.
politics and government? Do research. Dig deep. Follow the money...
to individuals.
"You could see the west as concentrated corruption defeating democracy and Russia as distributed corruption defeating everyday life". Count Cash, spot on!
Once upon a time tyranny was a local matter but as many of us have begun to realize it is now global. I hope that the people of the world can use this to begin to unite against global corporations and the governments who empower them. I am sad that it has taken so long for Americans to wake up. Our sons, daughters, and friends have been dying fighting people who also want their freedom for powers that deceive us into debt slavery. Something that many outside the U.S.A. have realized for years. None of us poor shlubs wants to go to war when the best we have to hope for is to come home in one piece. We are tied of this insanity. Yes, there are things in this world worth fighting and possibly dying for. However, dying for a government so that the top 1% can become even richer and buy our politicians to perpetuate a system that will crash? No, we won't be left with this mess so that the richest of us can take their money and run. If were going down 1% your coming with us this time. We're all on the same boat. It's high time we as a world under class stood together and said no more! There is so much to be said and much to be done. Can we as a world do it together? Can we do it without violence? Can we please do it without killing our brothers and sisters? I don't know but there is so much to hope for.
Dan 0418, what should we be prepared for, to hand out guns to the crowd to get the 0.00……1% Oligarchs? Hey I don’t even need break open a crate for that; I could fit them on a table top! And the funny part, the government would be very happy to see it done! Because they spend enormous amounts of effort stopping these Oligarchs getting the full levers of power in the first place, complying with all sorts of human rights legislation, so it would be helping them out! You really don’t get it Dan, do you? Why do you think they all run to London? Getting the picture now! The model is completely different, here we have the west pushing freedom, not for the people, but so that Onepercenters can take over here, so they can be all a world wide set of Onepercenters, in their little club. In the west you have a lumped mass of corruption in the Onepercenters who control government at the top, removing your democracy completely, here the Onepercenters can’t get a full free hand, so any move against these control wannabe’s, is actually pretty pro government. In Russia, it is different, there are the N-percenters, who are corrupt at all levels, even more widely at the bottom, and believe me there are a lot of them. You could see the west as concentrated corruption defeating democracy and Russia as distributed corruption defeating everyday life. But here again, any help from the people is 100% supported by the government, because no one wants this corruption. See the huge difference is that in the west the Onepercenters are supported by government, whilst in Russia the Onepercenters and N-percenters are hunted by government, as far as is possible. Of course if some people want Onepercenter control here in Russia, or maintain N-percenter annoyance and parasitic drag, they can try to take the rest of the Russian people on! OWS and the people of Russia are fighting the same fight; the difference is that in Russia, the government is on their side – now do you understand RT coverage?
We need to be alert to Divide and Conquer (wolf in sheep's clothing) strategies by the elites who are adept in mining the populace for dissent, which they manipulate and control. I am concerned that a major attack in Iran could provoke a confrontation with the US, China and Russia that is stage managed since the "powers" control both sides as they do and have in every conflict. After all they fund both sides so it is reasonable they control both sides. Once a "shot heard round the world" incident is instigated a global attack and probably nuclear would follow with pre-positioned assets engaging faster than can be controlled or stopped. These beings in control are not humans! They are extremely dangerous! They will stop at nothing to hide their real identity and their true origin. So once a conflict starts we need to hunt them as they have hunted us for centuries. with names like rothschild, rockefeller, schiff, and all the rest of the elites we have a list and that will be a good start to a grand finish because I promise you this time we will hunt them.
An awaken people are very dangerous people. I wonder what the one percent will do now? I expect a big (but behind the scenes) reaction. The powerful are much more powerfull than the commen person can imagine, but this power removes them from reality so much that they can never imagine their demise; if history is any indicator, the only way a revolution can be successful is if it goes to the very end. As far as I'm concerned Revolutions can be divided into the following main caterogies: successful, not successful, progressive, regressive. If there is any change to occur it has to be successful first, and then if that is the case we can only hope the change will be for the better and not the worse - let's all hope so. From my experiece as an Eastern European I can say only that any order/functioning society (wheather very left or very right, very just or very unjust..) is better, in fact far better, than chaos/lack of functioning society. My grandfather who fought the Nazis from Bulgaria all the way to Hungary, and one of the very few who came back alive and with all his hands and feet in place..(yes my fellow Serb friends, such Bulgarians exist), had told me one day, long ago when I was still a kid.. and him alive, that there is nothing worse than war: he said "let there be anything, just not war." Wheather he was right I don't know - I haven't had first hand experince at war to have valid arguments, but word has it that where the Nazis failed, a Bulgarian doctor succeede d: he was "helped to die" in hospital because of openly expressing his leftist ideas.. after the so called "collapse of communism" in Eastern Europe.
The world is a much smaller place. With modern technology and especially the internet it is bringing people together. I see nothing wrong with this. We can keep the form of governments we want. We can keep our cultures. But we can do it as one planet, one people. The people are starting to rise up all over. It will be messy, there will be mistakes and failures. That is the only way for us to find our way as a whole and succeed in a world that doesn't need to kill each other, that doesn't have to have one half fat and the other half starving.
Thi s is the start of a world wide movement that real reach far into the future. This world belongs to all of us. Not only the rich, not only the politicians, etc. The old way is dead. Time to move forward.
I view it as an indication that the Neocons are succeeding with their plans of building the "Democracy"(read: communism) on the global scale. The whole colonized by the US world behaves in the uniform way. People in those former independent cou ntries, seem, having exactly the same mentality and mindsets like Americans, whom they just mimic and repeat their patterns of behavior...
Also, this is just another prove that Marxists were right, when they said (a century ago) that the real democracy can be built only(!) on top of the strong economy which provides prosperity and satisfy basic needs of the majority. As soon as the basis -- the economy -- start falling, the democracy going to the background...
Thanks RT you are the first ones to tell us about the OSW.Most of the media here is western controlled and so we do not here anything here.Fortunately, tod ay some channel like BBC had broadcast it
