The second world war effected so many people. It is gratifying to see the work that you have done to bring about the "Soviet" side of the battle. My father was with the Canadian Army, the 2nd Canadian Division, 3rd light anti-aircraft Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery. He started out as a clerk making sure that all the guys got their pay, etc. . Then as the war progressed in the European Continent he transfered to the battle on the front lines with the anti-aircraft guns. He saw many things that effected his outlook on life forever and how he viewed people. I am proud of the way he served. My family on my mother's side came from Russia, immigrating to Canada in the 1920's. It is very interesting to see what happened on that side of Europe during that conflict, and it is important that we remember the sacrifice of so many during such a terrible time in the history of our world.
Awesome that you guys put a clip about the young guy no getting shot by the German but let go because he could play piano beautifully. This is not a glorification of the Red Army but the memories of the war through those who regretfully lived to see it.
Thank You RT for this, and most importantly,no THANK YOU big enough could accommodate the sacrifice of the Russian people, French, American and British to the defeat of Nazi Germany. THANK YOU!!!
The clips you are doing about the Eastern Front are great! Thank you a lot RT! I would like to see more about different nationalities fighting in the Soviet army agains Hitler... Make more about that!)
