Because America considers itself to be the World's police and no one to Police them.....they have freedom to do what ever they want..........Until now......The tide has turned.

Sean Kavanagh 28.07.2014 12:41

Blair has no choice but to continue what he is doing. It's the only way for him to hold on to his diplomatic immunity from war crimes.

How is that war criminals like Tony Blair, George W. Bush, Donald Rusmfeld and Condoleezza Rice are allowed to go free for invading Iraq based on lies, killing over a million people and destroying the country when war criminals from Africa and Serbia are hauled to the ICJ for trails?

Is there a double standard some where?

You bet there is! Americans NEVER tried for war crimes, no matter how justified. By the way, add D. Cheney and Blackwater to your list!

Benoit ZuccarellI 19.06.2014 05:45

The last sentence of this essay asserts that Blair is a 'Killer without a clue...' ,LOL!!!

REA LLY?HA! T.B. is far from clue-less, and knows exactly what he is doing...and he is laughing all the way to the bank while doing it.

Pepe proves, once again, that he is the clueless one.

People educated in US are completely CLUELESS.

S ad but true

How many AMERICANS do you actually know? Seriously, do you know enough of them to actually make that judgement?
If you are told that AMEICANS are clueless, and you believe it? It could make you look like the clueless one.
There are a lot of brilliant AMERICANS,they invented this contraption we are communicating through.

Benoit ZuccarellI 19.06.2014 05:29

The crimes people like this guy are all 'legal' as the laws and the media make it so they can not be prosecuted, and never will be.

Pepe's writing continues to be irritatingly sophmoric at best and presents nothing new here. A caricature that could be mistaken as bad comedy is where RT is at,c'mon RT.

RT can't do better?

Chris Chat: Can you come up with answer for all School killing in America ; do you think is religion or if they had a nice long 165 years education , i bet US wouldn't be so morally bankrupt.

robert john 18.06.2014 14:19

Great piece.Perfect analogy How strange that Tony BLiar's face has started deteriorating in evil fashion as his lies keep increasing, like Pinnochio's nose! The true face of a latter-day Dorian Gray.

Chris Chat 18.06.2014 13:21

I didn't agree with the Iraq war, when I was a boy I organised a school walkout and got suspended for it :(

but...

Its not really the Americans or the British that caused this new crisis. These people will always be around where ever there is a country full of religious zombies to be commanded and easily swayed.

Any one that really cares about ending/reducing violence needs to start educating people to the insanity/idiocy of all forms of religion.

K illing in the name of god is clearly still very popular among Muslims, if they had a nice long 15 year education I bet they wouldn't be so morally bankrupt.

sonnyyy 18.06.2014 13:14

I'm surprised Britain hasn't put Blair in prison for the rest of his life for loss of UK lives based on lies and deciept.

George Costanza 18.06.2014 12:42

I suggest Oxford Dictionary to print this picture alongside mockery. You don't need to give a description lol. Self-explanatory.

George Costanza 18.06.2014 12:36

This is one funny piece on Blair bashing. Loved the read. The chosen picture of Blair + the loaded article makes the phantom look like the epitome of what mockery is all about. lol. Funny how poor "Dubya" gets more than one mention. This is why the pen is always more powerful than any weapon.

Yet another incendiary and illuminating 'op-edge' from Pepe Escobar, a poetic merging of deep politics and laser-sighted commentary:

'Let them eat corpses – and kill each other to kingdom come'

I agree with Pepe, a spectre is indeed still haunting Europe, the spectre of Blair as the Phantom.
One raised on the corpse of the British labour movement, fed with the carrion of several million innocent lives and grown fat on the titbits fed to him by his western masters.

Ex aming Blair's face closely, one is instantly confronted with the metaphysics of evil, the sepulchre smile barely masking a corrupted soul.
I see that Tony Blair is still not liked around these corners much. Sound like a nice guy though whenever I saw him .

I agree.plays guitar, lovely smile. Still so much more good left to do in the world. We need more like him. Lovely suits too. People are wont to nitpick when there's the slightest hiccup.
This sums Mr Blair up nicely: “God hath given you one face, and you make yourself another.”
― William Shakespeare, Hamlet

But he does bring a point doesn't he ?
How can a long line of toyata trucks not be spotted when US intelligence has been working overtime in that area.

Divid e and conquer, sadly who is dividing who.
don't worry scape goat already have a C plan that this was all going to a according plan.

The slimiest man ever to come out of England.
No one does disingeuous, fake charm quite like Blair.

Whil st he wanders the earth, tanned, rich and free to talk, there is no justice.
