Free speech is simply a state of mind. The recent new events in the USA should be proof enough that free speech is something of the past. You can't even criticize Obama, without his goons throwing you in prison as a terrorist. Oh how we wait for the revolution to start, these politicians had better stay hidden for a long, long time. They are all guilty of crimes against humanity. Cases can be well proven for War Crimes, for several top USA politicians.

Annie
Its nice to have a new car with all of the on board computer gizmo,s but if you like your privacy drive an older model with out a C.A.N emission system this system
transmits its signals out to appx 50ft ,the sys has little to do with emissions but more to do with the governments total recall sys of gps phone calls and internet from the vehicle , in dire cases a vehicle fitted with computer power brake assist and computer assist electric steering can be hacked to cause what looks like fatal accident !

Gee - and our former Constitutional professor, now in the White House likes this? Of course! All of that baloney about change was just that - baloney!

The best thing we ALL can do is to give up technology all together. In my opinion technology is becoming MORE invasive, addictive and distracting!

We have been very successfull in entraping countries in agreements that put us in control. The few countries that avoided our control are, naturally, stupid, badly managed, corrupt, dictatorships in our media.

mergon 12.12.2013 09:01

when the American system is in collapse they need put up another organisation to funnel their money into ,ever seen a poor dictator ?

Signing the TPP agreement without knowing what it is and giving up freedom of speech as well as all privacy , is as good being rob and rape in day light .
South east asia nations should look at China and Russia to trade .....

Starting at the top, we should start costing these rich tycoons their very fortunes.

The real injustice is that many of these Pacific Rim nations don't have a choice: either they sign this non-sensical TPP agreement which will destroy their lives and livelihoods - Monsanto will destroy their agriculture and environment - or they will be destroyed by US destabilization. This whole thing isn't even just blackmail - it is a catch 22 or irresolvable conflict. This is precisely what happens to Ukraine: either it signs the EU FTA or it is being destabilized. The EU will then sign TAP (the equivalent of TPP) with the US. There is no winning short of a world war 3 to destroy the US or at least decimate it.

A fascist state maintains its control by making speech illegal. With draconian IP laws, everyone will violate the law at some point enabling the state to imprison anyone at will. With the passage of TPP, the American worker and citizen will be at the mercy of state. Americans are now plantation workers forced to buy their goods at the company store, going every further into debt, and unable to buy out their debt and free themselves. Instead of remaining a slave to an unscrupulous business owners, Americans will become slaves to our nation. With TPP, the remaining freedoms we enjoy will cease to exist. JUSTICE.

Note to PM Najib of Malaysia. Odd that in your speach; you talk about "Malaysians’ First" while your government cosigns the Judicial System over to foreign Corporations.

Me thinks...You have the wrong handliers ...Sir!

I suspect; with a reasonable degree of probability; that the US negotiating team for TPP; are the creatures that crawled over the gunnels of Noah’s Ark “demanding that they are in control” and then preaching that “Piracy” is an evil thing.
