@Angela Sea

Instead of thinking about trying to acquire a few Bitcoins, which currently costs a few thousand dollars, try thinking about collecting a few milliBits. One the greatest attributes of cryptocurrencies is the ability to simply move the decimal place to adapt to social conditions. So for example:

1,000 milliBits = 1 Bitcoin ~= $1,000

If you can't afford a few Bitcoins, perhaps you can afford some milliBits:

10 milliBits = 0.010 Bitcoin ~= $10

There will most likely come a time when the Bitcoin community as a whole decides to move the decimal place, turning your milliBits into Bitcoins.

There is darn little you can buy with bitcoins, other than more bitcoins.

Let's see, besides we services, like VPN, domain names, DNS services, etc, I can use Bitcoin to buy stuff at: WalMart, Target, Amazon, Whole Foods, CVS, Burger King, Red Robin, T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T, GAP, Hot Topic, and a ton of other places. I can even use it for airline tickets, hotels, and car rentals. So, the "darn little" at this point is pretty much only "gasoline." ; Everything else, I can buy with bitcoin.

to call bitcoin a currency is an illusion, it has no intrinsic value,it is not regulated, father or mother.its manufactured by a piece of code.A get rich quick scam for today's" I just wanna be rich society ".

Yo u're kidding, right? Nothing has intrinsic value. Only "use value," maybe, which is basically how useful something is. Bitcoin, as a distributed, peer-to-peer, global transaction database is extremely useful.

Bitcoin is like having a relationship with the transhuman (a digital man/woman, cyborg); you do not know where and when "love" begins or where and when "love" ends. At the very end of the Silk crypto/thread road the question is: can the bitcoin alter current mind(s)…… The question worth two quarters for Zoltar’s crystal bowl.

I believe BITCOIN, like Gold and Silver will definately serve a purpose BUT when the NWO has complete control over FOOD, what are you goind to do. I have decided LAND is a bigger necessity. It not only gives one a place to FLEE but a place to GROW your own food. I bought land in Canada,Africa and South America, giving me choice. If you are interested I have a 10 acrea extra parcel, with River and Highway frontage, in Canada, in a LOW PROFILE area. If you don't have something outside the U.S. or Britain then SEARCH for "acreage, farm land,property,Timmin s,Canada"

Max & Stacy, I love you; however, bitcoin is worth absolutely nothing, it is an insolent scam manufactured by the same banksters’ gang of Wall Street & Co. They’ve been blowing the bubble on bitcoin the same way like on Goldman’s derivates and cash from the artificial “gold fever”. When time comes there will be a loud cry and grating of teethes. Money in a cloud? Are you joking? Tell them to back bitcoin with a real gold, then it will be a real currency. But the bunksters never allow it.

@Abinico Warez - used to think excatly like you - then after learning from a friend i read this -

forum.qrk. cc/thread/26/block-c hain-work-security

And it started to make sense - Crypto currency is just currency issues by the people - my problem with Bitcoin is its too hard to obtain - price too high - ?

Abinico Warez 08.12.2013 19:57

I will say it again - bitcoin is a fake, a fraud, and a scam. There is darn little you can buy with bitcoins, other than more bitcoins. Gee, isn't that the definition of a pyramid scheme. Go try to buy some gold Maple Leafs using bitcoin - good luck unless you find a delusional dealer, and most seem to be wise to the bitcoin scam. Bitcoin is this century's Tulip scam and a year from now will be a fond memory, for me anyways since I won't be losing any money in this fraud. If you want to play with coins, I suggest old silver US coins; at least you know they will have at least the face value forever - bitcoin: NAUGHT.
