Our nations would benefit from friendly relations, I cannot think of a more reliable and trustworthy ally than Russia, that is where we should form an alliance with a nation with a great future and good hearted people.

Ye p, Britain and Russia both good christian countries. Be better when UKIP take over, they are christian, labour are atheist, conservatives (cameron) supposedly christian.

The Russian economy is so dependant on petro dollars that if the price per barrel goes below $110/bl the corrupt oligarchs will no longer be able to grease the rails of growth. Guess where the price is now? In less than 2 years, Pukin will have to find another diversion to keep people's minds off the economic slide. Perhaps something like the the invasion Georgia did in 2008.

God is the only ally that Russia needs.

there's old man RUSSIAN WINTER too to help out when God's goes to an afternoon nap :PpP

Russians are indeed infatuated with anything British, from hob nobs and high tea to Bentley and Range Rover (yes yes the last two I know are no longer British-owned).

The UK however still treat Russia as a threat for which they indeed are which is what the British see as just another one of those oh so subtle yet minoe complexities between east and west.

It's all good old boy

IF they were on shape, they would had point then Medvedev, into the right spots to look. OR give the next two, to the Coast Guard!! Russia needs friends. Of all kinds. Russia is a peaceful nation, that loves to preserve peace. In ww2, everyone talks about the Jews. But out of 50 million lives lost about 26 Millions were Russian. So who lived a horrendous holocaust?

BIG-ONE5 07.01.2014 04:11

God is no one's ally. Many died praying to be spared. So better leave that topic to others.
Putin should get 4 Elizabeth class carriers, pair them witrh 4 mistrals, and all needed to form the fleets. Why that? Russia Mistral like barges are not comparable to western ones. Years of neglect and no practice will get Russia into a roller coaster of tests,R&D, to just design a good carrier. And built like 4 just to get personel in shape to do more. I'll buy the next Mistrals. But now check for what was missing. The reason that issues are already there, shows how rusty, Russian carrier builders are.

Looks like Cameron won't receive bows any time soon. a big punishment. As grave as when Soviets wouldn't receive a new chair or desk from the community.
However, Putin could get into correspondence with the Queen. Not to compare characters,... Ivan the Terrible did correspond with the Queen in his times. And before the wave begins, get well informed. Ivan did for Russia what no other done before. I read all. NOT the propaganda. He built Russia into what it stands today. He built so much, even while called "mentally challenged". He did wrong too. So do many today, for that fact.
