The US is just trying to pick a fight with Russia ,we should stay OUT of this Ukraine situation, if Crimea wants to be with Russia and they voted on it after the gov of Ukraine fell , so be it. Russia should have had their slate wiped clean after the fall of the USSR and we ( the US) has continued to treat them horribably, The US runs around and screams about freedom until someone stands up and takes their freedom , then it is not right. The USA needs to shut up and mind it's own business.

Ever since the Russian Revolution, it has been the US policy to emasculate the USSR/Russia, and make her into a non-entity in world affairs (or even bring it back into the fold). The encirclement of Russia, with a view to defeating her has been going on since the Russian Civil War. By slicing away Ukraine from Russia's influence the US weakens Russia considerably. The US is pressing its advantage as far as it will go. This is a very dangerous policy because it places US forces right at the border with Russia. Russia like any other world power will surely not allow to be pushed around. The US is playing with fire. STOP

Hey look! The memebers only club. To be a memeber you have to be a sell out and pocket the rest.

A false flag triggered invasion of Syria by NATO would almost certainly trigger a similar (with it's own false flag) invasion of South/East Ukraine by Russia.

Dangerous times ahead.....

I guess everything is warming up for new great world war with epicenter in central Asia this time, and as before it is all about natural resources and hegemony, with the same actors as in previous two.

But as we saw in the UN vote last week. The international community disagrees with Putin.

You even have no clue about UN corruption."Int ernational community" are the countries which have US military bases. US pay them and they have no choice but to vote for US. Minority of countries who abstained/voted for Russia represent 70% or the world population. Anyone with a common sense knows what "international community" truly is: a bunch of warmongers in the US who hold EU and a majority of the world as their hostages. Please, learn the FACTS before you post.

But as we saw in the UN vote last week. The international community disagrees with Putin's actions. And yes international diplomacy has rules. Now in the international community's eyes Putin acted illegally.

You sound rather as a victim of western mainstream media propaganda than a troll on their payroll. I am British and BBC or any other source in the UK never covers the news which don't fit in the US/EU narrative. So your simple minded comments are understandable.

The US is not the worlds police and the don't want to be either.

Th e first part of the assertion is correct. The U.S. is not the world police.

The second part of the assertion is only half correct. The people of the U.S. do not want its government to operate as the world police. The role as world police is not found in any of the U.S. laws, treaties or Constitution. On the other hand, the U.S.'s elected officials seem more than eager to act as the world police. The government's warmongering ways provide ample proof of this.

Oh boy ! Are we deluded of Obama's behaviour ! We thought this guy would at last make the changes the world demanded after the shambles of Bush and Co.

Si lly you for having such high hopes for such a non-achiever. You had no reason to believe as you did, and neither did anyone who voted for him.

Impulse 30.03.2014 18:40

The "west" and the endless amount of manure that comes with their friendship and services rendered - is wearing itself thin.

How silly and naives could we be to think that a lone man could change in face of overpowering, ruthles s forces who care not about human lives but just corporate interests that by their very existance ignore totally laws and constitutions and only obey to the law of the strongest?Thank god the brics exist and can be heard in the international arena. I just want to see INDIA sitting next to Russia on the security counsel and start hammering USA and sycophantic poodles.
