Even if drug production stops, Afghanistan will be able to supply the international market with heroin for another 20-30 years from existing stocks, warns head of Russia’s Federal Drug Control Service Viktor Ivanov.

That drug funds the war for America like for the Taliban. It also allows to destroy from inside their common ennemi: Russia. As long as Mr Medvedev will not have had a serious talk with his Great-Guy buddy on the subject; nothing will change. Russia should, in accord with her former Soviet Republics friends creat a special force for checking the borders and planes coming in and out and kill on the spot any drug trafficker (even if it is an US Army colonel).
