May 14, 2012 15:05

Admitting that the chances for negotiations between the Syrian authorities and the political opposition remain slim, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister added that the world’s premier terrorist group is responsible for wreaking havoc in the Arab Republic.

I have been saying this for days.  It's all foreign terrorists.  Saudi, Qatar, USA, Europe, Egypt, Libya, and Turkey should pour massive amounts of weapons into Syria through the refugee camps to anyone that can show valid Syrian ID.  They can takes these anti-tank missiles, night vision sniper rifles, shape charged bombs, and anti-aicraft missiles back into Syria and help assad fight these foreigners.  The west and the gulf arabs should trust that Assad and the Russians are telling the truth.  Therefore the west and gulf arabs should spare no efforts to dump as many weapons as possible into the hands of Syrian civilians.  Since they are Syrian they support the regime and will help fight against the foreign terrorists.

Some specialists say that loan aid people to live their own way, because they can feel free to buy necessary goods. Moreover, some banks offer secured loan for young and old people.

If the killing in Syria is from the As Quaida, then let the U.N. military intervene, and stop the killing of innocent civilians. A  Warrant should be issued on Assiad, by the HAG, the international courts. They did it in Iraq, why not that  Assid in Syria. The full length of the responsibillty will lie on the head of the Russian government. RT does not want me to put down in words where the real fault lies, this is Russian Democracy.

The opposition have made it clear that they do not trust the arab version of the Red Crecent, but on the other hand, the Syrian government do not let Medecins Sans Frontieres get into the cities and hospitals, not with doctors, surgeons or medical equipment. And in that setting, on top of the fact that some Arab nations and the Western "so called friends of Syria" backing rebels regardless it seems of the information that terrorcells like Al Quaida are heavily involved, and noone of these are in favour of a politically negosiated ceasefire or ending of the violence! This is a real test for all good forces, including the Annan plan, seems to fade into a more and more distant future! It should not be a problem for anybody to undertand that Russia, after the tragic and uncertain still, case of Libya, keeps their obligations to the Syrian government! That is their not negosiable duty, as much as US supports almost all the other dictators in that part of the world, and noone says anything, almost nothing anyway!

hmm. Genocidal maniac being assaulted by a fearless group of hardened desert warriors that will gladly stand against anything they perceive as morally/ethically grey with brute "i kill myself to kill you" tactics. Good, Syria will belong to it's people again- cause those guys don't back down.
And you know what, I REALLY don't like what Bashaar Al-Asaad has been spoken of as, allowing to happen.

On one side US is fighting a war against Al-Qaida  in Afghanistan and on the other side US itself supplying the arms to the Al-qaida and the opposition groups in Syria. What an hypocrite they are...

Russia knows Syria cannot make peace with Al Qaida (unregistered) 14.05.2012 20:51

really, the facts are clear: Al Qaida and suicide bombers were not in Syria until the West, along with Qatar and Saudi Arabia, decided they want to remove the Assad regime and replace it with Salafist radical Islam. Does Russia wants this as well? my guess is not the case—that Russia does not want to see the rise of Salafism in Syria. Then, since Syria cannot make reasonable deal with Al Qaida, what is the solution? I think the Russians can figure out the answer to this question for themselves!
