October 11 will be the next election day in Russia – on Sunday millions of citizens will be able to vote for deputies of local legislatures throughout the country.
I agree, there's no way that the elections will be free or fair, especially in Chechnya
Hmmm, Not very balanced reporting I think, No mention of the whitewash in Moscow, for example, where opposition canidates have been struck off the list for alleged "signature forging" So, there will be elections, Jim, but not as most people know them :-)
