And exactly where will the US get the money and manpower for a war with Iran? And where is the proof that Iran has /is building nuclear weapons? America is running wild. The most powerful country the world has ever known shows the most irresponsible behavior regarding the world and human lives. What powers are pushing the United States to such insane adventures? And in whose interest? Certainly not that of the people of the United States, nor the peoples of the world. The US vacuous claims about the so-called North Korean sinking of the South Korean warship convinced nobody. The claim that Iran is pursuing the building of nuclear weapons is another herring. The threats of attack against Iran and the show of force against North Korea (read China) are actions beyond any accepted norm of international behavior. The United States fine and safe. She is threatened by no country, yet she is bullying the world to follow her instructions, or else. The baseless accusations and threats of the use of military force at every opportunity seem to be the signs of a waning empire. Patriotic Americans need to find the source of the evil that is pushing the United States from one war to another toward ultimate self-destruction before it becomes too late.

Let's hope it doesn't happen, but a war with Iran would put Russia in the "catbird's seat". Just imagine what would happen to the price of oil per barrel if a war was started. Russia would reap billions of dollars of new revenue from oil at several hundreds of dollars per barrel. If you follow the money, it leads to Russia.

What a messed up world we live in, when even within one short article it is not possible to stay consistent and logical. And the words are used in the best Orvellian sense to mess up our already feeble understanding. Iran is closer to producing nuclear weapons? What does it mean "closer"? Like in 5, 10 or 20 years? And what would such an estimate mean, other then guessing at what speed, manpower and knowledge Iran is progressing towards mastering nuclear weapons technology. And so far, nobody has SUGGESTED even that they have a nuclear grade enrichment --- not one ounce! Everyone was getting exercised over 4% enrichment necessary for nuclear energy. Then, Iran gave everyone more reasons to get exercised --- it started enriching to 20%! Sounds ominous, except when considered that Iranian hospitals need this isotope for medical treatments, and that hospitals all around the world have it, and no questions asked. And nobody, but nobody, ever hinted that Iran is nowhere near the necessary 90+% needed for an attomic weapon. That is ONE attomic bomb. Wow! That would really scare Israel with its EXISTING 200+ nuclear bombs according the former President Carter. Even this article ends by wondering how to "disarm" Iran ---- disarm of what? Another imaginary weapon of mass distruction, or better distraction. It is all very tiresome. Obviously, games are being played, while public at large is being ignorant. If these characters have another dangerous war on their minds and their infintile hearts, they may be very disappointed. They cannot count on already impoverished and sick of everything population.

The American congress, recently passed a resolution that encouraged and supported a strike by the Israeli's on Iran. Of course this lays the groundwork for a strike that has tacit approval by the American government. So the only restraint, the fear that an attack against a larger, stronger country will not be supported militarily by the US is removed. Who would doubt that the US had given a green light and insures something that approximates victory. So could fear of WWIII be the cause of Moscow's reluctance to oppose the US's hegemony? Wouldn't the region with numerous batteries of SS300's serve as a deterrent and preserve the peace. The decision of Russia to deny Iran needed defensive weapons will haunt them militarily, economically and diplomatically. Because all those newly important economies of the emerging BRIC nations will seek more reliable sellers of defensive weapons. With the US opening air bases in Columbia to control the region, air defense systems will dominate the arms market. The Russian policy of allowing American missiles on their borders while denying the Iranians an opportunity to defend themselves makes world war more plausible. Never forget that the congress of the US has an 11% favorable rating in American polls. The funds and foot soldiers necessary to subdue Iran would have to cut funds from domestic entitlements, and soldiers will have to be conscripted. Both unlikely scenarios. Smart Russian leaders should look to prevent a conflagration that will menace the Russian people and the world alike. They should quietly sell all of their dollar reserves. Europe is lost economically, the new economy will by carried by the BRIC's. Turkey has seen the handwriting on the wall, time for Russia to do the same. Then again if the Russians were really smart, they might develop and inexpensive and reliable hand held SAM's for Afghan insurgents, to return the favor to the Americans.

I think one would be hard pressed to find "uneducated hillbillies" in any of these cities. And what is wrong with "hillbillies"? I know quite a few and I would put my trust in them before I would anyone from one of these cities. Uneducated simply means that someone has not paid alot of money to aquire a peice of paper that says they are smart. Education has nothing to do with ones intelligence. One more thing, have you personally asked all of the American people their opinion on this subject? No you have not because I do not recollect conversing with you. I think you might be wrong.

Lets hope it doesn't come to that with repeated failure after failure by Americas Military from Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan and other mis adventures, lets hope the world puts its foot down this time to stop the US from making yet another major mess it will then ask the rest of the world to clean up...enough is enough US.
