As it was always intended as an offensive system, against Russian national defence capabilities (deterrence) , it was hardly ever going to survive scrutiny, which evaluated it against purely defensive criteria. The more clever people, who evaluate the system objectively, the more ordinary people will realise the facts.

That article make me laugh. I have read the same one, over 25 years ago, written by an expert from the Association of Concerned Scientists. At that time, I worked for Boeing near Seattle USA. That star-war shame was Reagan and his croonies from the MIC (military-industrial-complex) 's idea. The only goals of that insanity was to make money, corrumpt politicians, impose american way of life and presence in strategic locations; vith a particular preference for the vicinity of Russia's borders. It is easer to understand than an interception on a missile type US Trident carrying ten warheads having the destructing power of 300 to 400 Hiroshima bomb will have serious consequences even in the USA wherever it is shot down on this planet. It only needs to have an instant nuclear reaction devise in it, which already exist. In 25 years of experiments no interception of loaded missile has been tried over american territory. Why ! The time has come for decisions'makers to learn what the word reconversion mean and radicaly change priorities. Since 1945 mankind has wasted 60 trillions € on military and police equipments (65% made in the USA). This is 15 times the cost of that well premiditated financial crisis and its origine. We can include three billions for the set-up of that Barnum-Obama-Circus which was used to cover-up the whole scenario and fooled all of us. PS: I can't say more because, I already tried nine times to send a comment a little more virulent as this one. Strangely, the digits play tricks on me. Someone may not like to read what could be close to the truth and is to chicken to debate about it. Sorry Future Generations; it is all that I can do for you on my seventieth birthday (70) Sincerely. It does give the US an excuse to invade another couple of East European Countries remembering that it still occupies most countries it invaded during WW2. After 19 years of independance for Poland its a shame to hear that their politicians have sold them out. Note that Iran signed a none Nuclear arms treaty with its neigbours years ago ( Isreal at the time was the only country refuseing to sign). and since then most of the region has been invaded buy the US or through its suragate NATO.

Countries that accept on their territories nuclear projectile shields, or radars and such, become themselves targets. What kind of leaders are those, that sacrifice the security of their people to defend "the free world".... only to increase tensions and suspicions. And what are the journalists doing? No sensible man will believe me. I was stationed in a nuclear projectiles unit with americans as liaison, outside a town of northern Greece. The projectiles could be fired with 8 inch howitzers {canons}with an 18 kilometers range..of course there were some "Honest John "rockets 70 kilometers away! If the enemy was behind a mountain.. good for us. Who cares about civilians? We coud not send these things deep enough in to the enemy territory, so in any case our territory would be greatly effected. Of course I was tought by Americans, all about washing off the nuclear fall out...{!!}and more, like how to trap other people {who?} with explosive devices {is this terrorism?} and more and I had some interesting propositions for after the army. Jean Jack Servan Schreiber had said that Greece is the most manipulated country in Europe large and breite. Fortunatley these stupid things vanished long ago.
