Belarus sets date for presidential election

The Belarusian parliament has set the presidential election date for December 19, 2010. The main point of interest now is whether or not Aleksandr Lukashenko will remain in power.










It would be interesting to see that YouTube video mentioned in this article. Unfortunately, my search didn't produce any results. Instead, I've seen many videos of the Belarusian president standing tall and talking to the media candidly about his genuine disappointment in the latest "war of information", the reasons behind it , brotherly love between people of Belarus and Russia and respect for all neighbours. And even more interesting - not a single over-towering bodyguard around or security entourage to usher him 'just in case'. He didn't look like a president who fears his own people or something to hide.
